In the Yuan Dynasty,from the beginning of Emperor Renzong to end of the Yuan Dynasty,the imperial examinations were stopped twice.In fact,the examinations 16 just opened 16 times,and 1,139 people were admitted to be scholars,of that more than 70 were admitted who from Shandong.Although the number of presented scholars in the Yuan Dynasty is far less than that in the Tang,Song,Ming and Qing Dynasties.the regional allocation and provinces for the unit of local test are innovative.Shandong has two different examination district.They are Dongping district and Shandong department of Publicity and Consolidation.The content of the imperial examination had a new development.Instead of poetry,the imperial examination pay more attention on practicality theories.The interpretation standard was based on Neo-Confucianism,which also had a profound impact about these scholar-officials in Yuan Dynasty.The scholars from Shandong in the yuan dynasty occupied a high proportion in all scholars,who also be called in political practice,literary creation,cultural construction.It is the epitome of all scholars in yuan dynasty.Shandong scholars group is as the research object in this papers.This paper draws lessons from existing academia researches,and analyzes the social factors in Shandong,make textual research of these scholars who from Shandong.We can make more research on geographical distribution,group performance,academic achievement,which is further study about Shandong scholars in this class.The paper is divided into three parts,introduction,text and conclusion.In addition,the appendix lists citing materials and reference works is at the end of the article.The introduction part mainly introduces reason,research status,research ideas and methods.The text is divided into three chapters.The first chapter discusses the background and process of Shandong’s imperial examination,and through the description of politics,economy,culture and ideology in Shandong,it is clear that the condition for the implementation of Shandong’s imperial examination is ripe.The second chapter makes a detailed investigation of seventy-five presented scholars of Shandong in the Yuan Dynasty,which can be verified by selecting appropriate historical materials in different editions.Then we can analyzes the situation of these 75 scholars,by discussing their native place distribution,official experience,ethnic origin.The third chapter mainly learn their political practice,and academic achievements.The conclusion part is the summary of the whole text,highlighting the contribution of these scholars and emphasizing the important to maintain the stability of Yuan Dynasty.The scholars from Shandong play an important part role,who have outstanding achievements in carrying out the government order,running the local government,cultural construction.The scholars from Shandong is worth to study.Finally,this study can make up for the shortage of the study about Shandong scholars in yuan dynasty,which has important academic value for the further study of the northern scholars or the whole in yuan dynasty. |
