Our teaching purpose of TCFL is to master the basic knowledge of Chinese,the basic skills of listening,speaking,reading and writing,and to cultivate the ability of using Chinese to communicate,which also reflects the fundamental task of language teaching.The teaching purpose of cultivating communicative competence is determined by many factors,which has become the consensus of teachers and learners.However,even if learners have a good grasp of vocabulary,grammar and sentence patterns,they still cannot express themselves fluently in a specific context.In addition to vocabulary,sentence patterns and grammar rules,learners lack scripts in their heads.People’s speech analysis ability and advanced thinking ability can be explained by the script theory,such as the phenomenon of information default in language.The application of script as a cognitive model in TCFL is a new exploration,which will be of great help to the improvement of learners’ language competence and communicative competence.Based on TCFL,this paper uses the methods of literature research,functional analysis and graphical analysis to study the script of “medical treatment”,and discusses how to apply the script theory to TCFL and puts forward relevant suggestions for the compilation of textbooks.This paper first sorts out the related research of script theory,and then discusses the definition of script,the difference between script,framework and schema,as well as the characteristics of script itself,which lays the foundation for the relevant analysis of “medical treatment”script in the following.Second,“hospital” cognitive model is analyzed,and through the model which can describe the activation of script to illustrate if the learners want to know the "medical treatment" script,the problems encountered while activating the target language script needed to be solved,the problems refer to the Script Vacancyt,Script Incorrespondence,Script Deviation etc.After the problem is solved,the learners can successfully activate the target language script in their mind.Therefore,we explain the constructed “medical treatment” script in detail with the help of diagrams.Then,based on valence grammar theory,the this paper,from two aspects that the semantic role and the valence way of verb to analyses the verbs and sentence appearing in “medical treatment”script,points out the verb in scene is equivalent to the header in script,elements that verbs activate refer to those subordinate components.In addition,considering the different Chinese level of the students,this paper discusses how the script theory should be applied to the teaching in different stages,and tries to put forward the teaching method.The author puts forward two rough suggestions on the compilation of textbooks.The last part includes the summary and shortcomings of paper.
