Since the outbreak of the COVID-19,in order to avoid the massive spread of the epidemic,Center For Language Education And Cooperation has stopped sending volunteer Chinese teachers aboard;Confucius Institutes stopped running offline one after another;and overseas students were unable to enter China for offline study.Almost all Chinese teaching shifted from offline to online.As a language skill class,elementary Chinese listening attaches importance to students’ skill acquisition.However,we found that using traditional listening teaching methods online could not achieve the teaching goals and effects,and there are many problems,which posed new challenges to many Chinese teachers,including the author.Therefore,the author developed the idea of designing a primary Chinese listening instruction based on the Tencent Classroom platform.This paper consists of five parts:The first chapter is the introduction,which emphasizes the purpose and significance of the study,the current status of research on Chinese listening teaching online,and introduces the research methods and ideas of this paper.The second chapter first analyzes the basic situation of teaching and learning and Chinese listening MOOCS,expounds the inspiration of listening MOOCS for the online design of elementary Chinese listening course.Then focus on the examples and analysis of teaching design based on the Tencent Classroom platform.The third chapter conducts a questionnaire survey on learners from the aspects of teachers,teaching materials,students and teaching environment,and tries to explore the reasons for the difficulties in the practice of online listening teaching by analyzing the survey results.The fourth chapter,based on the feedback survey results of online Chinese listening course,puts forward immature ideas and suggestions in the aspects of textbooks,students,teachers and institutions.And last,the fifth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes the content of the whole paper,expecting that it can be a modest contribution to Chinese teachers’ online teaching.
