In recent years,with the improvement of the national economy,China’s tourism economy has developed rapidly,and tourism has become the preferred method of leisure and vacation.As the world’s third largest inbound tourism receiving country and outbound tourism consumer country,China’s tourism industry has ushered in opportunities and challenges.As a part of the excellent culture of the Chinese nation,the culture of the Northeast is the same as the cultural civilization of the Heilongjiang River Basin,which is as famous as the cultural civilization of the Yellow River and the Yangtze River Basin,leaving many splendid cultural heritages.The tourism resources in the Northeast region are extremely rich,but the economic income of its tourism industry is relatively large compared with other regions in China where the tourism industry is economically developed,especially the economic gap of tourism products is particularly prominent.Well-made tourism product packaging not only leaves tourists pleasing The feeling makes tourists and relatives and friends leave a good first impression of the tourist destination;and the production of poor packaging of tourist goods not only cannot stimulate the tourist’s consumer desire,but also is harmful to the image of the tourist destination.The packaging of tourism commodities and their internal products are closely connected.Therefore,the packaging design of tourism commodities as an important link in the matching design of tourist souvenirs has important strategic significance.However,the design of tourist souvenirs and packaging of tourist souvenirs in the Northeast region has not been able to develop in a coordinated manner.This is reflected in the outdated design concepts,lack of their own prominent regional cultural brands,serious homogenization,and lack of new ideas.In the design of tourist souvenir packaging,the introduction of design elements with regional culture not only improves the cultural connotation and regional attributes of tourist souvenirs,but also increases their added value.This article summarizes the general laws in the packaging design of tourist souvenirs by conducting a survey on representative tourist attractions in the three northeastern provinces and other domestic provinces,and conducts case analysis on the packaging design of tourist souvenirs in other regions,combined with advanced packaging The design concept is to redesign the tourism souvenir packaging in the Northeast region from the perspective of regional culture.When designing the Northeast regional cultural and tourism souvenir packaging,not only the aesthetics must be considered,but also the design strategy should be coordinated to achieve "tailor-made" through green Ecological packaging design,sustainable design of the "vitality" of regional cultural packaging,emotional design in regional cultural tourism souvenirs,regional tourism cultural brand building,regional visual design symbol extraction,AR virtual reality augmentation technology and regional cultural tourism souvenir packaging,etc.Organic integration of design strategies.Make the packaging design of tourist souvenirs an excellent platform for displaying the regional culture of Northeast China,create a brand of cultural tourism in Northeast China,and promote the cultural connotation of Northeast China.
