| The semantics of Chinese vocabulary are complex, and the discriminating between words with similar meaning or similar form has always been a difficult point for non-native language learners.During the process of acquiring the modality adverb"Kongpa(恐怕)”,foreign students often confuse it with other words.Existing studies have primarily compared it with similar adverbs, ignoring the distinction between this and the homomorphic words, such as "Pa(怕)”and "Haipa(害怕)".This is precisely the category in which international students make the most mistakes.Based on the "Chinese Proficiency Vocabulary and Character Level Syllabus" and the "New HSK Vocabulary Level Syllabus",this article selects five words "Pa(怕),Haipa(害怕),Kepa(可怕),Kongpa(恐怕),Napa(哪怕)" from the perspective of homomorphic words for investigation and analysis. As a basis, some reasonable suggestions are put forward for this group of homomorphic and easily confused words from the perspective of teaching Chinese as a foreign language. The full text is divided into five chapters:Chapter 1:Introduction,which mainly elaborates the reasons for the topic selection, research overview, theoretical methods and sources of corpus.Chapter 2:Mainly research on the ontology of "Pa(怕)" homomorphic and easily confused words.Firstly, starting from the source of characters, analyze the connotation of the common morpheme "Pa";then use the different morphemes as the starting point to explore the formation and development of the meaning of the four words "Haipa(害怕),Kepa(可怕),Napa(哪怕),Kongpa(恐怕)".Then, the thesis compares and discriminates this group of "Pa" homomorphic and easily confused words from the aspects of word meaning, syntactic distribution, syntactic function, and collocation tendency.Chapter Three:Investigate the acquisition of homogenous and easily confused words of "Pa" by foreign students. The article first searches the HSK Dynamic Composition Corpus 2.0 to summarize the errors and types of errors in the use of"Pa"-like prime words by foreign students in their writing, and finds that the errors of"Pa" prime words are directly proportional to the frequency of use.And focused on the analysis of the types of errors caused by the homogeneity problem. Then,on the basis of static corpus analysis, the article designs a questionnaire, and further investigates the use of "Pa" prime words and the actual teaching situation of foreign students through the questionnaire, and tries to show the whole picture of the foreign students’ acquisition, which is the reason analysis for the next chapter.Pave the way with teaching suggestions.Chapter Four:The causes of errors and teaching suggestions of "Pa",which are easy to be confused.Based on the previous analysis and investigation, the article further analyzes the reasons why foreign students’ "Pa" prime words make mistakes, and believes that they are mainly affected by the complexity of homomorphic words, negative language transfer of learners, visual cognitive learning strategies and avoidance strategies used,The influence of factors such as inadequate collection and design of teaching materials, studentization of teacher structure and improper teaching methods.Based on this, the article suggests that when learning "Pa" homogenous words, the first thing to do is to clarify the teaching principles of gradual and orderly progress, concise instruction and practice.Secondly, the compilation of textbooks must meet the requirements of the syllabus and reflect the consistency, continuity and scientific nature of the compilation;teachers should improve their professional ability, make good predictions of errors before class and arrange the teaching content reasonably on the basis of fully understanding the errors of "Pa" prime words. At the same time, teachers can establish the morpheme contrast consciousness of "seeking differences in the same"and the overall teaching consciousness of "frame language chunks".Finally, learners should be good at paying attention to the differences of different language systems, overcoming difficulties and learning to analyze similarities and differences.Chapter Five:Summarize the content of the full text and point out the innovations and shortcomings of this article. |
