Chinese is constantly moving towards internationalization,more and more foreigners are learning Chinese,teaching Chinese as a foreign language is also attracting more and more attention.This paper focuses on the investigation and researching of Ukrainian university students studying Chinese at beginner level,focusing on the problems of Ukrainian Chinese learners in the identification of easily confused words,drawing from Zhang Bo's perspective conversion theory.It is no longer limited to the comparative analysis of Chinese synonyms and words with similar meaning,but also extends the situation of other easily confused words.The author has carried on the field investigation focusing on situations where the Ukrainian students have confused the Chinese words,summing up three kinds of cases with high mistake frequency: the synonyms,the words with same morpheme and the similar Chinese words translated from Ukrainian language.Through the analysis of the three cases,the author finds out the causes of the mistakes,and provides the corresponding Chinese vocabulary teaching strategies and methods.In order to inspire Ukrainian Chinese teachers and fill the gaps in Chinese teaching in Ukraine.
