The teaching of the vocabulary has always played an important role in international teaching of Chinese.With the improvement and maturity of the international Chinese teaching system,the author finds that the problem of "synonym discrimination",which has always been the difficulty and emphasis of teaching,has a new point of view and research achievement,that is "the discrimination of easily confused words".Based on the practical needs of international Chinese vocabulary teaching,and based on the concept of "easily confused words " proposed by Zhang Bo,this paper briefly introduces the current research situation of " easily confused words " in international Chinese vocabulary teaching,combining with the latest "the Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages ".Through cross-comparison,this paper analyzes the characteristics of easily confused words and explains the rationality and necessity of the study in international Chinese vocabulary teaching.At the same time,according to their own overseas teaching experience,through the investigation and analysis of the Chinese learning situation of the Confucius Institute students at the University of St.Thomas in Chile,the relevant conclusions of "easily confused words" on the study of Chilean student are drawn.I hope I can provide some help for overseas teaching of "easily confused words".This paper includes five parts.The first part mainly introduces the background,purpose,significance,methods and ideas of the research.Synonym discrimination has always been the emphasis of international Chinese vocabulary teaching,but with the deepening and development of the research,it is not difficult to find that in international Chinese vocabulary teaching,we should proceed from the standpoint of learners and base on the theory of interlanguage,adopt "the discrimination of easily confused words ",which is more suitable for teaching practice.Therefore,from the perspective of international Chinese teaching,this paper,combining the primary vocabulary in "the Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to theSpeakers of Other Languages ",aims to find out the characteristics of easily confused words in the latest international Chinese syllabus,summarize its types,and hope to give some specific teaching suggestions through sorting out and studying.At the same time,with the combination of theoretical research and teaching practice,the characteristics and rules of the use of Chinese as a second language Spanish native learner easily confused words are obtained.Therefore,this paper analyzes the importance and rationality of easily confused words and its discrimination in the process of learning Chinese as a second language learner.The second part is about the research status and importance of easily confused words.According to the previous experience,the author summarizes the research achievements and research tendencies from the emergence to the current development process.It can be found that the current research of easily confused words is mainly in three aspects:the lexicography of easily confused words,easily confused words in corpus,and the discrimination of easily confused words in different categories easily confused words and its teaching methods.However,it is not difficult to find that most of the current studies have not classified easily confused words as the level of Chinese as a second language learner,which makes the level of research inadequate.This is what we should pay attention to in the future research.The third part is the investigation and research of easily confused words in practice teaching,not only including the study of easily confused words in the use of textbooks,but the study of the easily confused words learning situation of Chinese students in Chile.The former adopts the method of corpus analysis,the latter adopts the method of questionnaires,by combining with the data of students’ feedback in actual teaching,results of the investigation are analyzed comprehensively and meticulously.Therefore,the author draws a conclusion that the Chilean students’study of easily confused words has some universal characteristics.The fourth part is about the classification and discrimination of easily confused words and their teaching suggestions.Mainly on the basis of "the Graded Chinese Syllables,Characters and Words for the Application of Teaching Chinese to the Speakers of Other Languages ",not only using textbooks and survey results as important corpus sources,but also according to the conclusions drawn in the previous section to classify and analyze easily confused words.Then give appropriate teaching methods for Chilean Chinese learners,which combined with the research previously done by Zhang Bo,in order to be able to contribute to the related research of easily confused words in the first-level vocabulary and teaching of overseas easily confused words.In addition,from the three perspectives of teachers,teaching materials,and students,we will give specific suggestions on different aspects in teaching easily confused words.Teachers should plan ahead,combine teaching materials to sum up and anticipate easily confused words,they also need use professional knowledge to explain confusable words to students in the most appropriate way;the compilation of teaching materials should pay attention to the distinctive translation of ambiguous words and appropriate supplementary explanations;it is necessary for Chinese learners themselves to strengthen the learning of easily confused words,and to avoid the problem to be "fossilization",they should ask their teachers in time if they have problems.The fifth part is the final conclusion,which is collated and summarized opinions and conclusions of the full paper.
