Classroom is the main carrier of teaching activities,and the management of classroom has always been one of the most perplexing problems for teachers.Good classroom management can ensure the smooth progress of classroom teaching,provide the prerequisite for the realization of teaching objectives,and lay a solid foundation.However,there are still some problems that can not be ignored in the management process of English classes of tourism related majors.Therefore,this paper takes Kunming tourism vocational high school as an example,using the existing theory and relevant research methods,to explore the strategies to improve the current situation of English classroom management in Secondary Vocational Tourism School,in order to provide ideas for the solution of the problem and promote the improvement of teaching quality.The paper consists of five chapters: the first chapter describes the background of the topic,explains the purpose and significance of the research,combs the research results of classroom management at home and abroad,and lists the relevant research methods;the second chapter defines the concept of classroom management,defines the content of classroom management from three dimensions,and discusses the theoretical basis of classroom management;The third chapter investigates the current situation of English classroom management in secondary vocational tourism schools by means of questionnaire,interview and classroom observation;the fourth chapter clarifies the problems existing in the current English classroom management in secondary vocational tourism schools and analyzes the causes of the problems;The fifth chapter,based on the relevant data,combined with the reference of other people’s research results,puts forward suggestions for the improvement of classroom management: in the aspect of classroom routines,it expounds the methods of establishing classroom routines;in the aspect of dealing with classroom problem behaviors,it clarifies the principles of dealing with them and provides specific methods of dealing with them;in the aspect of creating classroom teaching situations,arranging physical environment and classroom atmosphere In the aspect of communication between teachers and students,it puts forward the process and precautions of harmonious communication between teachers and students.At the same time,it is also worth our attention to optimize the curriculum,develop school-based teaching materials,enhance the cooperation between home and school,and build a harmonious relationship between home and school.
