| Group cooperative learning is one of the teaching methods advocated by the new curriculum reform in China.So far,it has been widely used in all stages and fields of teaching.Especially in the classroom teaching of primary and secondary schools,group cooperative learning is very popular and adopted by the majority of primary and secondary school teachers.Group cooperative learning itself is not only in line with the current teaching implementation concept,but also plays a great role in promoting teachers to change teaching organization mode,regulate classroom atmosphere,improve students’ academic performance and improve and develop students’ ability.With the deepening of educational reform and the application of teaching,the problems in the implementation of group cooperative learning are increasingly prominent.From How Net search,we can find that most of the research on group cooperative learning involves senior middle and primary school students.Group cooperative learning is not suitable for primary school teaching,which is a problem worthy of consideration.Therefore,this paper will explore the content of group cooperative learning in primary school English.This paper mainly studies group cooperative learning in primary school English classroom by using the methods of literature research,questionnaire and interview.In order to better understand the situation,this paper takes English teachers and lower students as the main respondents,designs and tests the teachers’ questionnaire and students’ questionnaire with the same five dimensions.The results show that the problems existing in the process of organization and implementation of English teachersare: incomplete design of English learning tasks,unreasonable grouping of English learning groups,improper participation in regulation and control,and evaluation methods relatively single.There are some problems in the process of students’ participation in cooperative learning,such as the attitude of English learning is inconsistent,the understanding of English learning task is not clear,the task division of group members is not in place,the participation of small members is not balanced,and the awareness of evaluation subject is not strong.This paper analyzes the reasons for the problems of teachers and students,and finds out that English teachers’ teaching organization ability is limited,mainly due to four reasons: weak task design ability,lack of group building experience,weak teaching monitoring ability,old teaching evaluation concept;There are five reasons for students’ lack of cooperative learning ability in English group,which are low interest in group cooperative learning,easily distracted learning attention,weak sense of role of group division,weak ability of group participation and cooperation,and insufficient skills of group cooperative learning.In order to better help primary school English teachers and primary school students to use group cooperative learning,English teachers should strive to do the following: study the content of English teaching materials,master task design methods;understand the differences between students,establish a scientific cooperative group;timely assign to participate in the guidance,strengthen the regulation of English teaching;make clear the object of evaluation subject,strengthen the study of evaluation theory.Students should strive to achieve the following points: develop the habit of serious learning,improve the interest of cooperative learning;clarify their role awareness,and actively complete the task assignment;actively participate in cooperative learning,improve the ability of unityand cooperation;learn to listen to others’ opinions,and be good at expressing their inner thoughts. |
