Set up "Chinese Culture Overview Course" for foreign students will help foreign students to have the most real understanding of China’s national conditions,and will play a greater role in promoting the exchanges between our country and the people of other countries and developing friendship between the two sides.At present,academic circles has made some achievements in the study of Chinese Culture Overview Course,but in the context of the new era,despite studying in China for two or three years,there are still a considerable number of international students who do not really understand Chinese culture deeply.The study of Chinese cultural profile courses urgently needs to be improved and developed.Therefore,this article discusses the design and implementation of Chinese Culture Overview Course from the perspectives of times,regional,cultural confidence,and openness,provides a new perspective for international students to learn Chinese culture,and helps the further development of Chinese Culture Overview Course in China.There are five parts in this thesis.The first part is the introduction,including the reasons for selecting the topic,the research review,the research focus and the research methods.The current status of the research on similar courses.The second part points out the importance that the academic circles attach to this course,mainly discusses the reality of Chinese Culture Overview Course offered by major universities in Wuhan as an example,and points out the shortcomings.The third part is based on a questionnaire survey and discusses how to design the Chinese cultural profile course from a new era and regional perspective,with a view to helping international students understand a more real China and a diverse China.The fourth part designs the design plan of the new era Chinese Culture Overview Course,starting from three aspects:syllabus,teaching principles,and teaching methods.According to the problems in the actual culture teaching class,it proposes corresponding teaching strategies and establishes new teaching mode,perfect course teaching system.The fifth part puts forward the implementation strategy of the new era Chinese Culture Overview Course.According to the shortcomings pointed out above,this article summarizes the research from the four perspectives of learning efficiency system,teacher strength,resource integration,and famous teacher workshop,so that as a practitioner of the spread of Chinese culture,telling good Chinese stories and spreading Chinese voice,and contribute to the study of the new era Chinese cultural profile course.
