| BCT Standard Course is a series of textbooks prepared under the auspices of Hanban and tailored for the Business Chinese Test(BCT).This article takes 1 to 3 volumes of the textbook currently published as the research object,comprehensively using literature method,statistical method and comparative method to carry out research.The innovation is reflected in:the topic is novel,the academic circle has not yet comprehensively studied the results of the textbook;the method is scientific,and the organic combination of quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis has been realized.Through research,the author draws the following conclusions:From the overall situation of compilation,the teaching object of the textbook is clear,and the purpose of writing is clear.The sections are concise and there are only four sections,which is convenient for learners to use fragmented time to learn.However,it lacks the introduction of the system’s voice knowledge and business culture.The layout adopts color printing,and the binding is more exquisite,but the pictures are used too little.From the perspective of vocabulary compilation,the volume of new words in the textbook increases from volume to volume,but the distribution of the volume of new words in each lesson is not very uniform.The vocabulary level basically meets the requirements of the New Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus and Business Chinese Test BCT Syllabus,but it is more in line with the Business Chinese Test BCT Syllabus.The textbook has a high selection rate of business vocabulary,which meets the needs of business Chinese learners.The writing style of new words is more reasonable,and the interpretation form is mainly based on media interpretation.From the perspective of grammatical items,the single-course grammar points in Book 1 are mostly 1,2,Book 2 are mostly 2,3,and Book 3 are mostly 3 or 4.As a whole,follow the writing principle of increasing volume by volume and gradual and orderly progress.From the perspective of text writing,the topics of the text cover a wide range,including three types of daily life,organization and management,and transaction negotiation.The situation setting is reasonable and typical.The genre of the text is mainly based on narratives,speeches and speech drafts,allowing learners to acquire communicative skills in a subtle way.From the perspective of practice writing,the textbook exercises are mainly oral exercises,combining exercises with tasks,and let learners learn the language by completing a series of tasks.But there are no listening exercises,and the average number of questions in a single lesson is less than other similar textbooks.Based on the above research,this article summarizes the characteristics of the textbook and the areas to be optimized,and provides a reference for the revision of the textbook and the use of teachers and students. |
