On one hand,One belt,one road facilitate the promotion of learning Chinese.On the other hand,with the rapid increase of HSK candidates,the new Chinese series textbooks —HSK Standard Course came into being,which means that it can not only improve the comprehensive application ability of Chinese in an all-round way,but also achieve ideal results in HSK examination.Vocabulary is an integral part of a textbook.The amount of vocabulary,the choice of vocabulary and the distribution of vocabulary in textbooks affect the quality of the textbooks,which is an important factor in evaluating textbooks.This paper selects the vocabularies in the textbook of HSK Standard Course 4 as the research object,which is the 4th of the HSK Standard Course series,mainly using the methods of literature research,statistical analysis,comparative analysis.Based on Standards for Foreign Language Learning in the 21 st Century(referred to as "5C" standard)formulated by the American Foreign Language Teaching Committee,this paper analyzes HSK Standard Course 4 from five aspects:communication,cultures,comparisons,connections and communities.Through the methods of comparison,investigation and analysis,the paper draws conclusions of distribution and characteristics of vocabulary in HSK Standard Course 4 based on "5C" standards as follows: First of all,in terms of vocabulary selection,HSK Standard Course 4 selects a large number of commonly used vocabularies.These cultural vocabularies and interdisciplinary vocabularies are required by learners in daily life,which can improve learners’ language communication ability and effectively help learners use Chinese to solve problems.Secondly,in terms of vocabulary distribution,the number of vocabulary in each class is maintained in a relatively stable range,and the types of vocabulary involved are various.In addition,vocabulary will appear repeatedly in other classes in the textbook,which can deepen students’ impression.Finally,in terms of vocabulary arrangement,the textbook vocabulary appears around a topic,and each topic is divided into several small topics.By focusing on the vocabulary related to this topic,students can broaden their vision and develop their creativity.
