This paper takes HSK Standard Course 3 as the evaluation object to analyze in terms of the vocabulary,the grammar,the topic and the practice.Compared with Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus and Official Examination Papers of HSK(Level 3),it's edited reasonably in both quantities and contents of the four aspects mentioned above.And it well meets the requirements of Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus and Official Examination Papers of HSK(Level 3).But there is still room to improve in the recurrence rate of four aspects,the topic selection and practice pattern.Besides,the paper analyzes this textbook in terms of teaching practice by using the survey in the form of questionnaire and interviews done among the teachers and the students who have ever used HSK Standard Course 3.The results are consistent with the evaluation of the textbook itself.There are seven chapters in this paper with the preface mainly about the significance of the topic,the research methods and the research subjects.Chapter one mainly introduces the theoretical basis of evaluating international Chinese teaching materials and the achievements of previous studies.Based on HSK Standard Course 3,chapter two evaluates its vocabulary from three aspects: lexical resources,lexical repetition rate and lexical repetition interval;and analyzes it in contrast with Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus and Official Examination Papers of HSK(Level 3).Chapter three evaluates the textbook from the grammatical resources,the grammatical repetition rate,the grammatical annotation and practice,and the distribution of grammar points;and analyzes it in contrast with Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus and Official Examination Papers of HSK(Level 3).Chapter four evaluates the textbook from the perspective of topic selection,topic arrangement and recurrence;and analyzes it in contrast with Chinese Proficiency Test Syllabus and Official Examination Papers of HSK(Level 3).Chapter five evaluates the textbook from the amount of practice,the question type and the content of practice.Chapter six analyzes how the teaching materials are used in terms of teaching practice.Chapter seven,on the whole,analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of the teaching materials,and proposes some suggestions on how to compile the teaching materials in the future.
