Study On Rural Transformation Development In Peri-urban Region

In recent years,rural region in China is influenced deeply by globalization,industrialization,urbanization.Now,China is in the rapid urbanization process,and the city expansion speed is very fast,the formation of a large area of peri-urban region in urban fringe.In peri-urban region,rural region is affected by city expansion,and there are many problems of development,such as broken space,difficult of space using and planning administration.So it is so important to promote the space structure of urban and rural areas.On another hand,a large number of migrant workers work in the cities and towns,and they are affected by urban-rural dualism.Migrant workers work in the cities and towns,and live in the rural regions,and they are peri-urban people.In the background of new urbanization,and it is always has been people first.Let migrant workers have job Opportunity,have house to live,can see the doctors in hospital and let migrant workers become citizen.This paper does the research of rural transformation development from several aspects such as concept,theoretical basis,characteristics of rural transformation development and policy suggestions.And this paper use Yangzhou as example,and the purpose is to put forward policy suggestions for government.This paper is based on literatures all over the world,and make clear of the concept of "peri-urban"and "rural transformation development".And do the journals reviewed about the two concepts.Also,the paper makes clear of the rural transformation development influence by peri-urban.Above all,we get three conclusions:firstly,pay attention to problems of urban and rural population flow;secondly,rural transformation development is always has been people first;thirdly,do more new study on system innovation.So from the position of the villages,this paper research the characteristics of urban and rural population flow,house and farmland,and see the tendency of urbanization in peri-urban villages.The focus of this paper is put forward policy suggestions of urbanization and citizenization.This paper does an empirical study as Yangzhou urban fringe an example.On one hand,this paper analysis characteristics of social spatial transformation development,and research the spatial difference in different regions.On the other hand,this paper analysis characteristics of material transformation development from the aspects of house and farmland.The research about rural transformation development in Yangzhou peri-urban villages indicate:first,employment is the basic of urbanization;secondly,peri-urban causes a large amount of urban and rural population flow;thirdly,urbanization would cause rural decline to some extent;it is hard to get villages to live more closely together,but it is easier to migrant workers;it has been material transformation development in peri-urban villages and there are spatial difference in different regions.Base on the analysis above,the paper put forward policy suggestions for rural transformation development.For example,put forward for migrant workers become citizen;carry out different policy for different regions;improve the infrastructure and public services supporting policy;promote villages to live more closely together and land circulation.The whole thesis contains about 34 000 words,23 pictures and charts.
