| Objective The clinical manifestations of Parkinson’s disease are mainly movement disorders, which are progressive.Complementary and alternative medicine measures that can effectively control symptoms without adverse reactions are needed. In this study, scalp acupuncture combined with body acupuncture was used to treat movement disorders in patients with Parkinson’s disease. The clinical effect was comprehensively analyzed by scale evaluation and wearable gait analysis system.Method A total of 60 patients with Parkinson’s disease movement disorder who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were randomly divided into an acupuncture group and a control group,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with medicine, and the acupuncture group was treated with scalp acupuncture plus body acupuncture on the basis of medicine(acupoints selected from the motor area, tremor area, balance area,Quchi,Hegu,Yanglingquan,Taichong,Ganshu,Geshu),three times a week, for a total of 4 weeks. Before treatment and after 4 weeks of treatment, the two groups of patients were evaluated by Unified Parkinson Disease Rating Scale III(UPDRS III),Berg Balance Scale(BBS)and wearable Gait analysis system(IMU-based gait analysis)measurement to observe the effect of scalp acupuncture combined with acupuncture on motor dysfunction in Parkinson’s disease.Results①Basic situation:60 subjects were included in this study,2 cases dropped out,and 58 cases were finally included in the analysis(28 cases in the acupuncture group and 30 cases in the control group). Before treatment, there were no significant differences in UPDRSⅢ,Berg balance scale and gait parameters between the two groups(p>0.05).② The UPDRSⅢ score showed that the total score of the acupuncture group decreased compared with that before treatment(p<0.001);the acupuncture group decreased significantly after treatment compared with the control group, with statistical significance(p<0.05).③Berg balance scale showed that the scores of the acupuncture group were higher than those before treatment(p<0.001);the acupuncture group increased significantly after treatment compared with the control group, with statistical significance(p<0.05).④IMU-based gait analysis showed that the parameters such as stride length/height,maximum moving speed/height,foot lift/height,and calf motion range in the acupuncture group were better than those before treatment(p<0.05);Compared with the control group, the maximum movement speed/height of the acupuncture group was significantly improved, with statistical significance(p<0.05).Conclusion The combination of scalp acupuncture and body acupuncture is effective in the treatment of motor symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, and can improve the motor dysfunction and balance ability of patients with Parkinson’s disease,at the same time,it actively improve the motor gait of patients with Parkinson’s disease. |
