| Objective To understand the present situation about mode,curriculum system and teachers’ source of the general students’ humanistic quality education in medical institutions of higher learning in guangxi,combined with the reality demand,put forward measures to narrow the gap of humanistic quality education between cultivation in school and reality demands,as well as proposed policy suggestions on constructing the humanistic quality education system of general medical humanities.Methods Through the questionnaire survey to know the status of general medical students ’ humanistic quality education in three medical schools of higher learning in guangxi,interviewed teachers and instructors of general practice to understand where the teachers’ sources came from,and what kinds of teaching methods they took.To know what the requirements and expectations in the humanistic quality of the community medical institute by interviewing community general practitioners in guangxi.And through the questionnaire survey to know how people evaluate the GPs,and then to contrast and analysis of the gap of the both,analyzed its main influencing factors.Results(1)More than 40% general medical students believe that there were some problems in the humanistic quality education,mainly in course content,teaching methods,teaching arrangements in the main.Among them,there were less humanistic education curriculum school type,and which belong to politics,philosophy and psychology.87.45% of general medical students think that the ways of teaching in the three schools were mainly composed of theoretical teaching and analysis,the next were the case study,social practice,video-watching complementary.55.99% of them consider that humanities quality education of general medical students was limited in the lower grades.As well as,because of different grades,and different elective courses,they had different class hour every week,and 62.92% of them only had less than 3 classes in the humanities lessons.83.5% of the general medical students responsed that the ways of evaluation were based on paper grades,the practice was complementary.They trust that more than 78% of humanistic quality education courses’ teachers from college of humanities and social science.However,there are lots of clinical doctors involved in some courses teaching at present,such as the doctor-patient communication,medical ethics and medical community.(2)60.08% of the general medical students considered what the understanding and paying attention to humanity quality education were not enough,58.82% of them would be skipping classes.Among them,some students kipped classes because of outdate content,accounting for 66.19%;Another students were not interesting in studying because of the single ways of teaching,accounting for 57.79%.48.10% of students consider that was insufficient recognition of schools,44.29% of them think that was lack of a good campus cultural atmosphere.(3)It was to be improved that come from general practitioners’ self-evaluation of general and evaluation of the masses.Which covered medical ethics,physicians socialization,and medical mental adaptability,especially reflected on observing discipline,respecting patients’ ethnic customs,religion and habits.As well as conducting benefit counseling and follow-up.The lever of humanity about general practitioners related with the human environment in society;There should be combined current status of general practitioners humanities quality with general education of medical students in the school.(4)The students had different recognition and support of humanistic quality due to different grades(P<0.05).General medical students consider that constructing the humanities quality education system should include: establish the continuous mode,reform the ways of teaching with subjective initiative by students and the ways of assessment with the times,add more teachers with the fusion of clinical and humanities,expand humanities quality education,increase more opportunity in the practice to improve humanity quality.Conclusion(1)There were lack of a multi-level and multi-disciplinary system on humanities quality education of general medical students in Guangxi Medical Colleges.(2)Every school emphasis on humanistic quality education year by year,but students and some clinical teachers pay less attention to the humanistic quality education,which become the most difficult question in high school ’ s education,and whom humanistic quality to be improved.(3)Clinical teachers or doctors don ’ t pay enough attention to foster a humane qualities,which had a certain impact on the general medical students.(4)The humanistic quality of general practitioners is to be improved,the school can designed general medical training program at the top level to provide improved observations made.(5)Social play an important role on arousing the enthusiasm to build strong humanistic quality education of public opinion atmosphere,and to improve environment in agencies about community. |
