| Objective: By collecting the comprehensive geriatric assessment data of inpatients in geriatric department of a tertiary hospital in chongqing, this paper analyzes the status of depression and its influencing factors, and analyze its interfering factors, such as social demographic characteristics, living habits,socio-economic status, combined diseases and so on.To provide reference for early intervention and individualized program. If this is the basis, once found, can start to change as soon as possible,to avoid the mood continues to deteriorate. On the other hand,it can provide assurance for clinical workers and improve the quality of life of patients.Materials and methods: From June 2017 to October 2018,relevant information of inpatients in geriatrics department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University was collected, including basic information, physical condition, recent depression score information, activity of daily living score information, cognitive function score information, sleep condition, etc.According to the depression screening score,we can divide it into two groups with depression and without depression(depression group and non depression group),and the correlation between other factors was discussed.IBM SPSS statistics 19.0 software was used for statistical analysis, with α = 0.05 as the test level. The measurement data are calculated according to the measurement data and counting data.If the measurement data accord with normal distribution and homogeneity of variance,(?)± s was used to represent counting data,T test was used to compare the mean of the two groups;we can use percentage(%)as the count data, and the comparison between the two groups was performed by chi square test. All possible influencing factors were taken as independent variables and included in multiple logistic regression analysis. The risk factors were analyzed with depression as the dependent variable.P< 0.05 shows statistical difference. Results: 201 patients in 913 patients had depression score of ≥ 2points,and the incidence was 22.02%.In the single factor analysis, gender, medical insurance type, living condition, monthly income difference, smoking, out exercise, cognitive function, sleep status and daily life ability were statistical difference(P = 0.001,0.013,0.024,0.007,0.035,0.000,0.000,0.000,0.000),female,residents with medical insurance, living alone, monthly income less than 3000 yuan / month, smoking, lack of exercise Cognitive dysfunction, poor sleep and limited daily life ability were the risk factors of depression. The results of multivariate regression analysis showed that moderate to severe cognitive impairment,ADL score for basic self-care,life needs help, life dependence were the risk factors of depression in the elderly(or = 2.161,1.529,4.049,3.318,all P < 0.05),physical exercise(half an hour / day),PSQI rating was divided into general sleep quality, moderate sleep quality and good sleep quality, which were protective factors of depression in the elderly(or = 0.543,0.380,0.235 and0.126,all P < 0.05)。Conclusion: Depression is a common negative emotion among the elderly inpatients in Chongqing.Getting the surrounding economic and emotional help and keeping a good lifestyle can reduce the risk of depression in elderly inpatients. In the process of hospitalization,in addition to paying attention to the physical diseases of the elderly,we can bring more care to the psychological and spiritual conditions of the elderly as soon as possible. In the event of depression, timely control of relevant risk factors will help to avoid the development of more serious direction and help to improve the depression situation in time. |
