Abstract/Summary:
Objective: Analysis of the correlation between different human papilloma virus(HPV)infection subtypes and common microbes infection in the vagina provides a scientific basis for the detection, diagnosis and treatment of HPV infection, thereby realizing early detection, early intervention and early treatment of cervical cancer, cervical precancerous lesions and even HPV infection. Methods: Data from 867 patients who underwent HPV typing detection and common microbes detection in the vagina simultaneously as the research objects during April 1st,2020 to October 30 th,2020 were selected in the Department of Gynecology clinic from the First Hospital of Changsha City.On the basis of HPV detection results, patients were divided into four groups: group A was the types of 16 and 18 HPV infection group, group B was the other high-risk types except 16 and 18 HPV infection group, group C was the types of low-risk HPV infection group, while group D was HPV-negative group. At the same time, according to that whether there were Chlamydia Trachomatis(CT),Bacterial Vaginosis(BV),trichomoniasis vaginitis(TV),Vulvovaginal Candidiasis(VVC),Mycoplasma infection and so on in the vagina microbial detection results of patients, the number of people with no vaginal infection, simple vaginal infection(including any kind of microbe infection)and mixed vaginal infections(the vaginal infections with two microbes and above)in each group were counted and analyzed.Results:1.Among the 867 patients, the combinations with vaginal infection rates among group A,group B,group C and group D were:65.98%(64/97),67.82 %(196/289),70.59%(36/51),52.33%(225/430).The rates of combination with vaginal infection among group A,group B and group C were all higher than group D,and the differences were observably significant(P<0.05).2.The incidence of Mycoplasma infection in the HPV-positive groups(including the sum of groups A,B,and C)(193/437)was observably higher than that in the HPV-negative group(129/430),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).The incidence of VVC in the HPV-positive groups(14/437)was lower than that of the HPV-negative group(25/405),and there was a statistical difference(P<0.05),while there were negligible correlations in BV,CT,and TV between HPV-positive groups and HPV-negative group.Further analysis of VVC infection rate between group A and group D,which showed that group A combined with VVC infection rate was lower than group D,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05,OR=0.169,95%CI0.023~1.261).While group B and group C compared with group D,the differences were both negligible(P>0.05).3.There were statistical significances in the Mycoplasma infection rates among the four groups of ABCD,and the rates of Mycoplasma infection of group A,group B and group C were all observably higher than that of the group D,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).However,there were no obvious differences among group A,group B and group C in pairwise comparisons. And there were negligible statistical differences in the infection rate of CT,BV,and TV among the four groups.4.There were statistically significant differences in the rates of mixed vaginal infections among the four groups of ABCD(P<0.05),and there were no significant differences between group A and group D,group C and group D(P>0.05).The difference was statistically significant when comparing group B with group D,indicating that group B had higher rate of mixed vaginal infections than that of group D.Conclusion:1.There is a certain correlation between HPV infection and vaginal infection.2.There is a strong connection between Mycoplasma infection and HPV infection;VVC can reduce the HPV infection rate of type of 16 and 18 to a certain extent, while there are no obvious correlations with the other HPV subtypes. And there are also no obvious correlations among BV,TV and CT with HPV infection.3.Mixed vaginal infections(vaginal infections including two or more of BV,VVC,TV,CT and Mycoplasma infection)can increase the risk of the other high-risk types except 16 and 18 HPV infection.4.For different subtypes of HPV infection, there are negligible differences in the rates of BV,TV,CT infections.
