Objective:To contrast the clinical effect of tuina combined with needle sticking and pulling-shaking therapy and the single application of tuina therapy in the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome, and the mechanism of action of tuina combined with needle sticking and pulling-shaking therapy in treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome.Methods:60 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, 30 cases in each group. The treatment group were treated with tuina combined with needle sticking and pulling-shaking therapy,the control group treated by tuina therapy. Two groups were treated once a day, 4 times for a course, rest for 2-3 days between 2 courses.Then evaluation after 2 courses of treatment effect.Result:After treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 96.67%,the control group was 86.67%. Comparison of symptom scores in two groups before and after treatment, were obviously improved(P<0.01). After treatment, the group of tuina combined with needle sticking and pulling-shaking therapy is superior to the group of the single tuina therapy, in terms of improving symptom score, P < 0.05, with statistical significance.Conclusion : Tuina combined with needle sticking and pulling-shaking therapy in the treatment of the third lumbar transverse process syndrome can significantly improve the clinical efficacy, and compared with the single application of tuina therapy has significant curative effect.Two methods complement cach other, is conducive to improve the clinical efficacy and safety of green, is worthy of promotion.
