Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Liver And Kidney Deficiency Type Of Cervical Spondylosis With Getengerxian Decoction

Objective:To explore the therapeutic effect of getengerxian Decoction of liver and kidney deficiency of cervical spondylopathy with vertigo/dizziness and neck discomfort as the main symptoms.Methods:Sixty-two patients of liver and kidney deficiency of cervical spondylosis were treated in the outpatient department of Doctor X,spine orthopedics department,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese medicine from January 2019 to January 2020 were studied.The experimental group was treated with Gutengerxian Decoction,and the control group was treated with flunarizine hydrochloride capsule(Sibiling).The symptom and function scale of cervical vertigo were used to evaluate the patients’symptoms.The changes of the two groups scores were observed after one week and two weeks of treatment.The data were analyzed by spss22.0 statistical software.The scores of the patients before and after treatment were compared by chi square test,independent sample t test and paired sample t test.Results:1.After 1 week of treatment in the experimental group,the total score of the patient scale and individual scores such as vertigo score and neck and shoulder pain and headache scores were increased,and the difference was statistically significant compared with that before treatment(P<0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the score was further increased,and the difference was statistically significant compared with 1 week of treatment(P<0.05).2.After one week of treatment in the control group,the individual scores on the patient scale such as dizziness scores,life and work status scores were improved,and the difference was statistically significant compared with before treatment(P<0.05);and neck and shoulder pain And headache score was not statistically different from that before treatment(P>0.05).After 2 weeks of treatment,the vertigo score increased further,compared with 1 week after treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05);the improvement of neck and shoulder pain and headache scores was still not statistically significant(P>0.05).However,from the overall score,the difference was still statistically significant after 1 week and 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).3.The effective rate of the experimental group was 85%,and the effective rate of the control group was 61%.The chi square test showed that the effective rate of the experimental group was better than the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclustion:Getengerxian Decoction has a good effect on vertigo/dizziness,neck discomfort and other symptoms of liver and kidney deficiency of cervical spondylosis.And flunarizine hydrochloride capsules can also improve the symptoms of vertigo,but it is not effective in improving neck and shoulder pain and headache.The addition and subtraction of Getengerxian Decoction has a more comprehensive treatment effect on patients with liver and kidney deficiency of cervical spondylosis.
