Purpose: Investing pathological change in musculi colli of cervical-spondylosis animal model which is induced by holding station in yielding and invading by wind-cold and dampness evil for long term. Researching the action of prepared Chinese medicine (JINGKANGLING), which has function to dispel cold evil and remove blood stasis, in improving musculi colli pathogenetic condition of cervical-spondylosis. Discussing therapeutic mechanism of JINGKANGLING in treating cervical-spondylosis which caused by wind-cold and dampness evil.Method: Dividing 60 rabbits into six groups in random. They are normal control group, model control group, low dosage group, middle dosage group ,high dosage group (using JINGKANGLING), control group using JINGGUKANG. There are 10 rabbits in each group, half female and half male. Making every group except for normal control group into model by holding station in yielding and stimulating by wind-cold and dampness evils to Set up cervical-spondylosis animal model of wind-cold and dampness syndrome.Afterwards, giving different dosages of JINGKANGLING to therapeutic groups and JINGFUKANG to control group. Detecting different indices such as enzymatic activity of SOD, Na+-K+-ATP and Ca2+-ATP by Biochemistry method 3 days later after 4 weeks treatment(once a day).Result: Each enzymatic activitise in musculi colli of model group rabbits lower than normal group, having significant differences in statistics(P<0.01).Both middle dosage group and high dosage group with JINGKANGLING can improving enzymatic activitise in musculi colli, having significant differences in statistics (P<0.01). Comparing with normal control group and control group using JINGFUKANG, it has no differences in, and there is no difference in statistics(P>0.05) between middle dosage group and high dosage group.Conclusion: When pathological change of musculi colli in cervical-spondylosis occurred, which caused by holding station in yielding and invading by wind-cold and dampness evil for long term, it leads to enzymatic activity SOD, Na+-K+-ATP and Ca2+-ATP descending. JINGKANGLING could increase enzymatic activity of SOD,Na+-K+-ATP and Ca2+-ATP, improve pathological state of musculi colli in cervical-spondylosis.It perhaps concerned with function in anti-oxidation and anti-inflammatory analgesia of JINGKANGLING.
