| Objective:In this study,by observing the changes before and after of various indexes of Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)syndrome scores and Cervical Vertigo symptoms and functional assessment scales(ESCV)in patients with Cervical Vertigo(CV)treated by the combination of acupuncture and TCM for kidney deficiency and phlegm turbidity type.To evaluate its clinical efficacy and provide a broader thinking for clinical comprehensive treatment of CV.Methods:From December 2021 to February 2023,90 patients with CV of kidney deficiency and phlegm turbidity type from outpatient and hospitalized in the Cangzhou Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine in Hebei Province.Patients who met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into Western medicine control group, simple Chinese medicine group and acupuncture combined with TCM treatment group, with 30 cases in each group. The western control group was treated by betahistine mesilate tablets(Minshilang)combined with flunarizine hydrochloride capsules(Sibelium). The simple Chinese medicine group was treated by “Bushenhuatan prescription”.The acupuncture combined with TCM treatment group was treated by “Bushen Huatan prescription”and acupuncture treatment. Before and after treatment,TCM syndrome rating scales and ESCV were used as the therapeutic efficacy evaluation criteria.Statistical analysis of the data was performed using the SPSS25.0 statistical software.Results:1.The general data such as gender, age and the time to get sick in there groups were analyzed statistically. The final result were not statistically significant(P > 0.05)and comparable.2.Comparison about TCM syndrome points:There was no statistical difference in the three groups before treatment(P>0.05),and the TCM syndrome scores in the three groups which were improved after treatment compared with pretherapy(P<0.05),the outcome were statistically significant.3.ESCV:There was no palpable statistical distinctness in ESCV scores in the three groups. After treatment as compared to before, the ESCV integral for all the patients were improved(P <0.05),and the outcome has a statistical difference.About the ESCV,the overall efficiency of acupuncture combined with TCM treatment group was96.67%,the TCM group was 80.00% and the control group was73.33%.The overall clinical response rate of the acupuncture combined with TCM treatment group was higher than the TCM group and the control group, and there was a obvious statistical discrepancy.Conclusions:1.When the combination of acupuncture and TCM in the treatment of CV with kidney deficiency and phlegm turbidity type, the effect of diminishing patients’ TCM syndromes and improving ESCV scores of patients was significantly better than that of TCM group and the control group.2.Acupuncture combine with TCM in the treatment of CV with kidney deficiency and phlegm turbidity type patients has an impactful therapeutic effect and is worth promoting in clinical treatment. |
