Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of The Old-age Service Of The Medical And Nursing Combination In Chongqing

With the continuous improvement of social and economic development level,the aging situation of the population is becoming more and more serious.The traditional home-based care service model in China is difficult to meet the increasing needs of the elderly.How to strengthen the current social pension services to meet the needs of the elderly has become one of the great challenges facing our government.In response to this challenge,our government proposes to actively develop medical care combined with old-age care services.Chongqing is the first city in the western region to enter an aging population society.The problem of inadequate provision of pension services is very prominent.This paper studies the problems existing in the development of the integrated medical care and pension service in Chongqing,and puts forward countermeasures.It has important practical significance to promote the level of the elderly care service in Chongqing,and can also provide experience for other provinces,municipalities directly under the Central Government and autonomous regions in the development of the integrated medical care and pension service.On the basis of defining the old-age care service of the combination of medical care and maintenance,this paper analyses the types and characteristics of the old-age care service of the combination of medical care and maintenance in Chongqing,and focuses on the problems existing in the development of the old-age care service of the combination of medical care and maintenance in Chongqing.At the same time,drawing lessons from foreign good experience,put forward effective countermeasures and suggestions,in order to make Chongqing Medical and Nursing Care Service more perfect.The study found that the supply of health care combined with old-age services in Chongqing is in short supply.The service mode of health care combined with old-age services mainly includes six types: old-age institutions,public medical institutions,cooperation between medical institutions and old-age institutions,home-based old-age services,medical maintenance mode and integration of medical,health,cultural and tourism.The main problems existing in the development of the integrated medical care and pension service mode are that the insufficient supply of services coexists with the mismatch between supply and demand;there is a large gap of funds needed for the supply of services,the lack of a sound medical care and pension security system,the low income of the elderly,the inadequate ability to purchase pension services;and theshortage of relevant talents.In view of this,the paper puts forward the countermeasures to improve the elderly care service of the combination of medical care and maintenance in Chongqing.That is,to give full play to the leading role of the government and promote the balanced development of the supply and demand of the combined medical and nursing care service;to build a sound financing system;to establish and improve the security system of the combined medical and nursing care care service;and to strengthen the training of professionals.
