Clinical Efficacy Observation On The Treatment Of Qi Stage Syndrome Of Viral Encephalitis Based On The Idea Of Syndrome After The First Treatment

Objective: This study starting with the transmission of viral encephalitis,guided by " preventing disease from exacerbating ",and based on the idea of " Syndrome after the First Treatment",used Baihu decoction and Qingying decoction,a combination of Qi and Ying stage syndrome,to treat Qi stage syndrome of viral encephalitis,and observe and analyze the development and clinical efficacy of viral encephalitis in order to provide wider ideas and methods for the treatment of viral enc ephalitis in Traditional Chinese Medicine.Methods:(1)72 cases of viral encephalitis in the first and second affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2016 to January 2019,were divided into the treated group and the control group according to the method of completely random grouping.Each group was 36 cases.(2)Both groups were treated with routine therapy based on guidelines for the treatment of viral encephalitis by Western Medicine.The treated group was added with Baihu decoction combined with Qingying decoction.Fourteen days was observation time.(3)Before and after treatment in the two groups,the scores of TCM symptoms were calculated,the samples of blood and cerebrospinal fluid was collected to detect the blood leukocyte,lymphocyte ratio and cerebrospinal fluid pressure,cell count,protein quantitative changes and other indexes of efficacy and safety;and the duration of the major clinical symptoms and signs was recorded.Result:(1)The overall efficacy percent in both groups: T he total efficacy percent of the treated group was 94.44% and the other group was 77.78%.There was significant difference between the two groups(P< 0.05).(2)The efficacy percent of TCM Syndromes: It was 94.44% in the treated group and 72.22% in the other group.There was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).(3)The comparison of two groups of efficacy indexes: After treatment,the TCM syndrome score,CSF-related indexes,white blood cell and lymphocyte ratio decreased compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),but the therapeutic effect of the treated group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The time of curing clinical symptoms the treated group was shorter than that the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Based on the idea of “Syndrome after the First Treatment ",the application of Baihu decoction combined with Qingying decoction,a combination of Qi and Ying syndrome,can significantly improve the clinical symptoms,signs,cerebrospinal fluid,blood routine and other objective indicators,shorten the duration of clinical symptoms,and improve the clinical efficacy of the treatment of viral encephalitis in Traditional Chinese Medicine.It is worthy of clinical application.
