Clinical Efficacy Observation Of Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction In Treatment Of Viral Encephalitis(Abundant Phlegm Heat)

Objective:The objective of this study was to evaluate the clinical curative effect of the guide of standard treatment plus Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction on Viral encephalitis(abundant phlegm heat)and provide reliable clinical evidence for the standardized treatment of viral encephalitis in traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:(1)70 cases of viral encephalitis(abundant phlegm heat)patients were randomly divide into control group and treatment group according to the random number table method.The treatment group was treated with Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction plus the guide of standard treatment,and the control group was only treated with the guide of standard treatment.Two groups were observed for 14 days.(2)Blood and cerebrospinal fluid samples were collected at 3 points,like before treatment,7days treatment,and 14 days treatment to evaluate the effect of Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction on viral encephalitis(abundant phlegm heat).(3)What,s more,the main clinical symptoms and signs score was computed to evaluate the effect of Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction.(4)EEG classification,MRI classification of both groups was compared respectively on 2 points,like before treatment and 14 days treatment,to evaluate the effect of Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction on EEG waveform and imaging findings.Results:(1)The curative effect of viral encephalitis: the total effectiveness of treatment group was 97.14%,while the total effectiveness of comparison group was 88.57%.There were significant statistical differences on efficacy between the two groups(P<0.05).And it suggested that the clinical efficacy of Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction on viral encephalitis(abundant phlegm heat)was significantly remarkable.(2)After 7 days of treatmentt,the score of clinical symptoms and signs of the two groups was decreased significantly than before treatment.Compaerd with the control group,in addition to the ratio of neutrophils,the blood and cerebrospinal fluid routine related indexes of the treatment group were significantly decreased which suggests that Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction can significantly reduce the the score of clinical symptoms and signs,and can significantly improve the blood and cerebrospinal fluid routine related indexes.(3)After 14 days,the significant difference about all the results was finded in each group and between both groups(P<0.05),improving that the two methods were effective,and the effect of the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction can significantly improve the blood and cerebrospinal fluid routine related indexes,the score of clinical symptoms and signs.What,s more,it can reduce the classification of EEG and MRI.So Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction can shorten the patient's fever cycle,reduce the degree of fever,promote coma patients to wake up,thus greatly shorten the course of treatment.And Jiawei Qingwen Baidu Decoction on treating viral encephalitis(abundant phlegm heat)had its own unique advantages,which can create enormous social and economic value.It is worth popularizing.
