ObjectiveLumbar disc herniation(LDH)is a high incidence of clinical acupuncture rehabilitation department and spine orthopedics. With the increasing pressure of life, there is a trend of youth and high incidence. There are many clinical methods and ideas for treating LDH,but the curative effect is unstable and the recurrence rate is high. The long-term pain and discomfort caused by LDH affects the quality of life of patients. This study evaluated the clinical efficacy of the Fixed-point Hammering therapy combined with conventional acupuncture through experimental design, with a view to providing a more efficient and accurate treatment plan and injecting new diagnostic ideas into the LDH therapy system.MethodsA total of 66 patients with LDH who met the acupuncture clinic of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine and the Chinese Medicine Clinic of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou Medical University were selected and met the inclusion criteria.Random number method, divided them into 33 cases in the treatment group and 33 cases in the control group. The treatment group was treated with the Fixed-point Hammering therapy combined with conventional acupuncture. The control group was treated with traction and conventional acupuncture. The Fixed-point Hammering therapy is performed once a week, and traction and acupuncture are performed three times a week.Three weeks is a course of treatment, and the efficacy is evaluated after one course of treatment.Pain visual analogue score(VAS score)and lower back pain score system(JOA score)were used as indicators of efficacy evaluation. The scale scores were performed before treatment and after 1 course of treatment. The results were evaluated and summarized with SPSS23.0 statistical software.ResultsStatistical analysis was performed after summarizing according to baseline materials. The results showed that there was no significant difference in age, gender, and disease duration between the treatment group and the control group(P>0.05).The baseline data of the two groups were comparable.According to the statistical analysis of VAS score and JOA score scale data before treatment in the two groups of patients, the results showed that the differences were not significant(P>0.05),and the data before treatment in the two groups were comparable. After three weeks of treatment, the JOA scores of patients in the treatment group and the control group were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05),suggesting that the Fixed-point Hammering therapy and traction combined with acupuncture can improve lumbar function in patients with LDH;treatment The VAS scores of the patients in the control group and the control group were significantly different from those before treatment(P<0.05),suggesting that both the Fixed-point Hammering therapy and traction combined with acupuncture can alleviate lumbar pain in patients with LDH.There was a significant difference in the JOA score between the treatment group and the control group after treatment(P<0.05),suggesting that the Fixed-point Hammering therapy was more significant in improving the lumbar spine function in patients with LDH than traction therapy. The VAS scores of the treatment group and the control group were significantly different after treatment(P<0.05),suggesting that the Fixed-point Hammering therapy was more significant in improving the symptoms of low back pain in patients with LDH than traction therapy. In the overall curative effect evaluation, the total effective rate of the Fixed-point Hammering therapy combined with acupuncture was 93.94%,while the total effective rate of the traction combined with acupuncture in the control group was 75.76%.The total effective rate was significantly different(P<0.05),suggesting that the clinical efficacy of the Fixed-point Hammering therapy combined with acupuncture was better than that of traction combined with ordinary acupuncture in the control group.ConclusionFrom the results of this study, the Fixed-point Hammering therapy or traction combined with conventional acupuncture can alleviate lumbar pain caused by lumbar disc herniation and improve the lumbar spine function of patients to a certain extent. The clinical effect is better than traction combined with conventional acupuncture therapy, and in terms of acute analgesia, the Fixed-point Hammering Therapy is more advantageous. This study demonstrates that the positive reduction of the Fixed-point Hammering therapy combined with acupuncture not only has a significant analgesic effect, but also can improve the lumbar function of patients. It also has the characteristics of accurate reduction, simple operation, and safety, which is suitable for clinical application. |
