Coordinated Development:A Study On The Interaction Among Multiple Subjects In Medical Social Work

As a new service model,medical social work plays an increasingly important role in alleviating doctor-patient conflicts,providing humanistic care and support,and providing charitable medical assistance.The development of medical social work in China started late.For a long time,medical social workers were in vacancy in the medical system.In recent years,some economically developed cities in China have successively introduced professional medical and social workers to carry out social work in hospitals and other medical institutions,but the development of medical and social work in economically underdeveloped central and western regions lags behind.As an important province in central China,Hubei province lags behind other provinces in the field of medical and social work,and has not established a mature and complete medical and social work system.As the first batch of medical social workers pilot hospitals in Hubei Province,X Hospital has introduced professional medical social workers from Institution B to provide relevant services since January 2019.The social work Department of X Hospital was formally established in August 2019.The author conducted a two-month professional internship in X Hospital,during which he conducted relevant services with charity specialists,medical staff,patients,volunteers and professional medical social workers of X Hospital,and accumulated sufficient practical experience materials.Based on this,the author USES the participatory observation method and interview method to analyze the interaction between various subjects in the process of medical social work service development,and to evaluate the service effectiveness of medical social workers and the obstacles in the process of coordination among various subjects.In the early stage of medical social work in X Hospital,charity commissioners,medical staff,volunteers and medical social workers participated in the collaborative development.Under the promotion of relevant government policies and the external environment of the hospital’s long-standing philanthropic and public welfare culture construction,the medical social work of X Hospital developed smoothly in the early stage.With the focus on the needs of patients as the collaborative motivation and the advantages of all subjects as the collaborative engine,good collaborative effects were achieved in the early stage of development.At the same time,medical social work in X Hospital also faced some difficulties in the early stage of development,such as lack of mobilizing resources,incomplete motivation mechanism and insufficient collaborative driving force.Medical social work is indispensable to the development of multiple subject together,should be the focus of the coordinated development on the needs of patients,at the same time pay close attention to the demand of the other subjects,in the main body of their own advantages,for collaborative engine,by defining the main body function,to promote effective participation in the process of each subject in collaborative mode,multiple subject to promote realization of the synergy in the medical affair social work development.
