Research On The Status And Improvement Countermeasures Of Elderly Health Information Literacy

With the continuous development and progress of human society,the proportion of the elderly population in China continues to rise and gradually enters the aging society.At present,with the general improvement of the level of popular culture,people pay more and more attention to their own health,and the health problems of the elderly are becoming prominent.The rapid growth of the elderly population leads to the increasing demand for health.At the same time,in the era of big data,there are many kinds of health information,and the environment where it is difficult to distinguish the true and false information has a great impact on the cognition,acquisition,evaluation and application of health information for the elderly,which is unfavorable for the improvement of health information literacy of them.In recent years,the low health information literacy of the elderly leads to frequent accidents of family property loss.Therefore,this study explores the situation of health information literacy of the elderly.Through the investigation of the current situation and the analysis of influencing factors,it puts forward the corresponding countermeasures to improve the health information literacy of the elderly.The first part introduces the research background,significance,ideas and methods,and summarizes the research status of health information literacy.The second part describes the relevant concepts,and introduces the characteristics and functions of information ecosystem,and the related content of ecosystem theory and educational ecology,which lays the foundation for the construction of the model and the design of the questionnaire.In the third part,through combing the relevant literature of health information literacy and education ecological model,the health information literacy education ecological model is constructed to provide the basis for the later questionnaire setting.In the fourth part,based on the ecological model,a questionnaire was designed to investigate the status quo and deficiencies of health information literacy of the elderly,construct the scale of influencing factors of health information literacy of the elderly,and carry out a pre survey.The fifth part is empirical analysis,mainly using spss23.0 to analyze the collected data.In the sixth part,according to the results of the analysis,combined with the model constructed in the third part,it puts forward the improvement countermeasures for the health information literacy of the elderly.Finally,it summarizes the full text and expounds the limitations of this study.At the same time,it prospects the development direction of the research.Through the above research,we summarized the existing problems of health information literacy of the elderly: the evaluation ability of health information literacy is generally weak,lacking the ability to judge the quality of health information;in the aspect of health information acquisition,the access and way is single,and the elderly are generally unfamiliar with the use of medical websites and library related equipment;in the aspect of health information awareness,some elderly people’s awareness of health information is low In terms of the application of health information,some elderly people lack the ability to apply information and can not make appropriate health decisions,and the health problems in life are usually difficult to be truly solved.From the four dimensions,this paper puts forward some countermeasures to improve the health information literacy of the elderly through knowledge education,skill education,awareness education and ethics education.To provide a scientific basis for the relevant departments to carry out health information literacy education for the elderly,but also enrich the research in the field of health information literacy education,which has far-reaching significance for the development of this field.
