Objective:Through a survey of the prevalence of hyperuricemia(HUA)in the elderly in a community in Wuhu City, the impact of blood pressure, blood glucose, blood lipids, smoking, drinking, body mass index(BMI),and age on the prevalence of HUA was analyzed. Methods: The data of the elderly who took physical examinations in a community in Wuhu City from April 2019 to April 2020 is intercepted. The main physical examination population is those who are ≥60 years old and have lived in Wuhu City for ≥1 year.Excluding incomplete data,a total of 1773 cases were included, including 430 cases in the HUA group and 1343 cases in the non-HUA group.1.This study was carried out using questionnaire surveys, laboratory examinations, ultrasound examinations and some physical examinations. The questionnaire survey is mainly for age, gender, smoking history, drinking history, hypertension history, diabetes history and other questions.Laboratory tests mainly detect fasting plasma glucose(Fasting Plasma Glucose,FPG),blood pressure, and total cholesterol(Total Cholesterol,TC),Triglycerides(TG),High Density Lipoprotein(HDL),Low Density Lipoprotein(LDL),Blood Urea Nitrogen(BUN),Creatinine(Creatinine,Cr)),Uric Acid(UA),etc.,to explore the influence of the above factors on the prevalence of HUA.2.In this study,HUA group and non-HUA group were established, and their baseline data were analyzed respectively. The count data was expressed as rate(%),and the chi-square test was used between groups;the measurement data was expressed as x ± s and the comparison between groups was used T test. The chi-square test was used to describe and analyze the differences in the prevalence of HUA in different age groups and genders.Logistic regression model was used to analyze the influencing factors of HUA,and P<0.05 was statistically significant. Finally, choose Pearson(person)or Spearman(spearman)correlation analysis to explore the correlation between various influencing factors and blood uric acid levels. Results: Excluding the unqualified data,a total of 1773 cases were included, and a total of430 cases were included in the HUA group. The total prevalence of HUA was about24.25%.Among them,a total of 760 men were included,212 cases of HUA,and the prevalence of male HUA was about 27.9%;a total of 1013 cases of women were included, and the prevalence of HUA was 218,and the prevalence of female HUA was about 21.5%.There are differences between the two sexes.Statistically significant(2=9.605,P<0.05).Conclusion:1.In this study, the prevalence of HUA among elderly residents in this community is relatively high. The prevalence of men is higher than that of women, and there are statistical differences between the two sexes.2.In this study, the prevalence of HUA generally showed an increasing trend with the increase of age for elderly residents in this community, regardless of male or female.3.In this study, age, gender,BMI,total cholesterol(TC),low-density lipoprotein(LDL),Cr,history of hypertension, and history of drinking are all independent risk factors for HUA(all P<0.05).Elevated FPG,increased HDL,and history of diabetes may be protective factors for HUA.
