[Objective]To grasp the epidemic situation of diabetes and the epidemiological characteristics of related risk factors in this region.Simultaneously,to provide a scientific basis for the formulation of prevention and control strategies for chronic diseases.[Methods]By using the stratified random sampling method to select the object, who are the permanent residents with aged 18 years and above in this area.Sociodemographic diagnosis, epidemiological diagnosis and behavioral and environmental diagnosis were made by means of Current study.Survey methods include questionnaires, body measurements and laboratory diagnosis. The questionnaire includes general demographic information, which include age, gender, ethnicity, education, marital status and etc.And behavioral lifestyle which are consist of smoking, drinking, diet, physical activity and etc.Physical measurements includes measuring height, weight, blood pressure and waist circumference.Laboratory diagnosis includes the detection of total cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein and other indicators. We need to collect the fasting blood glucose of the surveyed subjects twice to obtain the average blood glucose. While the fasting glucose level?7.0 mmol/L is judged as having diabetes, while it is between 6.1-7.0 mmol/L,it is judged as pre-diabetes.By using a questionnaire to obtain diabetes awareness rate, treatment rate and control rate of diabetes patients.Use SPSS20.0 software to analyse the data.Adopt descriptive statistics to describe residents'demographic characteristics, personal behaviors and lifestyle.By using univariate analysis and multivariate logistic regression to screen and statistically analyze the influencing factors of diabetes.[Results]1.We issued 2270 questionnaires and recovered 2220 valid questionnaires. The effective rate was 97.8%.During the survey,113 people were replaced. The replacement rate was 5%,which met the standard of less than 10%.There were 1082men,account for 48.7%of the people and 1138 women, account for 51.3%of the people. The overall average age was(50.9±15.1)years.2.There were 153 diabetic patients. The crude prevalence rate of diabetes was6.89%,the age-standardized prevalence rate was 4.33%,and the average blood glucose level of diabetic patients was(9.66±4.65)mmol/L.Among all the diabetic patients, twelve of them have been diagnosed with typical diabetes symptoms, the diagnosis rate was 7.84%.There were 141 newly diagnosed patients and the undiagnosed rate was 92.16%.There were 125 patients with prediabetes mellitus(IGF)and the prevalence rate was 5.63%.3.There were 79 male patients and the crude prevalence of diabetes was 7.3%and the standardized rate was 4.58%.There were 74 females patients and the crude prevalence of diabetes was 6.5%and the standardized rate was 4.17%.There was no statistically significant difference between male's and female's diabetes prevalence(?~2=0.551,P=0.458).4.Diabetes patients'awareness rate in this area was 7.84%and the treatment rate was91.67%,and the control rate was 33.33%.5.Univariate analysis showed that unmarried, high educational level and employment were protective factors.Having other chronic noncommunicable diseases, excess salt intake, overweight(obesity),high blood pressure, abdominal obesity, and high triglyceride lipids were risk factors for diabetes.Put these factors into the multivariate logistic regression analysis, and use the likelihood ratio forward method to screen the factors. The results show that increased age(P<0.05),unemployed(OR=1.735(0.999?3.015),P=0.051),excessive salt intake(OR=1.994(1.295?3.069),P=0.002),overwe-Ight(OR=4.17(1.291?13.469),P=0.017),obesity(OR=5.154(1.536?17.286),P=0.008),h ypertension(OR=1.685(1.168?2.432),P=0.005),abdominal obesity(OR=2.197(1.539?3.134),P=0.000)and hypertriglyceridemia(OR=1.957(1.359-2.818),P=0.000)were independent risk factors for the occurrence of diabetes. After deducting the above factors, the association between the remaining factors and the occurrence of diabetes was not statistically significant.[Conclusion]The crude prevalence rate of diabetes was 6.89%and the age-standardized prevalence rate was 4.33%.The proportion of newly diagnosed diabetes patients was 92.16%,and the prediabetes prevalence rate was 5.63%.The health administration department should continue to strengthen the preliminary screening of diabetes among high-risk groups. The awareness rate, treatment rate and control rate of diabetes patients were bad in this region. So the government should strengthen publicity and health education, improve the residents'awareness of disease prevention, and do early detection, early diagnosis, early treatment and early control. The risk of diabetes increases with age.Being unempoyed, overweight, obese, having high blood pressure, abdominal obesity and having high triglycerides and blood lipids were risk factors for diabetes. So the government should take feasible control measures against these factors.
