Research On Project Progress Management Of Songlin Reservoir Based On CCPM

At present,there are mature approaches to project process management intended forlargescale in China but most of the small-scale projects are just using a Gantt chart,schedule diagram and other simple ways.What’s more,lacking of objective analyses,some projects schedule their plannings by empirical determination,which often cause the inconsistence between plans and actual conditions,and the lack of necessary supervision and control of project progresseventually leading to project frequently delayed.Based on the characteristics of small-scale hydraulic engineering projects and traditional critical method as the main research method,this thesis expounds the relevant theories of project schedule and analyses the critical chain method applied to small-scale projects.Taking Songlin Reservoir Project as the subject,this thesis investigates the phenomena of project delay,and deeply analyzes the reasons for the problems in the project,thus summing up the characteristics and problems in the management of small-scale projects.To solve these problems,critical chain methods have been used : first of all,the project structure is decomposed and sorted,and then three estimation method is used to eliminate the safe marginof each procedures,therefore finding out the resource constraints,determining the critical chain and setting up the buffer areas.As a consequence,an improved schedule is established and evaluated based on the critical chain method.Corresponding measures and methods are proposed to ensure the implementation of the improved project schedule Ultimately,the buffer areasare monitored by the early warning system,different measures are taken to prevent and deal with possible risks and losses depending on the consumption of buffer area,and relevant safeguard measures are formulated to guaranteethe implementation of the project schedule.Based on the relevant theories of project management,combined with project management practices,taking Songlin Reservoir Project as an example by using critical chain method to research it,the thesis provides a reference case to small-scale projects like Songlin.
