Kindergarten is a space for preschool education activities.It has a subtle impact on children’s physical and psychological development,and plays an important role in promoting the development of education.At present,the design of most kindergartens in China has some problems,such as enclosure regulation and training.The fixed layout limits the enthusiasm of children.The design from the perspective of adults makes young children lack initiative,which is incompatible with the requirements of high-quality education development and the needs of cultivating people with all-round development.Educational aesthetics is characterized by aesthetic pleasure and aims at stimulating students’ interest in learning,generating students’ internal drive for learning and developing good learning habits.Based on the theory of educational aesthetics,this paper aims to guide the practice of kindergarten design.Firstly,the concept and definition of educational aesthetics and its relationship with kindergarten design are clarified by using the methods of literature analysis and interdisciplinary research;Secondly,qualitative analysis is used to analyze the guiding principles that need to be considered in the process of kindergarten design;Finally,combined with the case analysis method,this paper analyzes the specific implementation path of the application of educational aesthetics in kindergarten design.The research finds that the kindergarten design from the perspective of Educational Aesthetics needs to be guided by the requirements of talent training,take the national norms of kindergarten design as the premise,follow the laws of children’s physical and mental development as the basis,and achieve the educational,concrete,holistic and novel characteristics of educational aesthetics.It can be realized from the following aspects: the combination of formal and informal learning space layout can weaken the sense of compulsion and oppression brought to children by the traditional fixed layout;Creating a relaxed and pleasant environment atmosphere can promote the "dialogue between students and students","dialogue between children and the environment",and realize the educational nature of educational aesthetics;Based on the color preferred by children and the principle of color aesthetics,the overall and unified color matching is designed to realize the integrity of educational aesthetics;Select materials to ensure children’s safety,maximize the use of natural lighting,and use reasonable noise reduction means to create a safe and comfortable environment for children,so that they can achieve heartfelt pleasure and achieve the essential purpose of educational aesthetics;The novelty and "exploratory" environment will arouse children’s curiosity,promote them to develop the ability and quality of being good at discovering problems,daring to explore and solving problems independently in the process of exploration,and realize the novelty of educational aesthetics.In short,under the guidance of educational aesthetics,integrating the process of preschool education into aesthetics and applying the laws and methods of beauty to preschool education is bound to fully stimulate children’s enthusiasm and autonomy,cultivate children’s good learning habits and quality,promote children’s physical and mental health development,and thus affect the improvement of education quality.
