Research On The Design Of Waiting Space In Dujiangyan Mountain Rail Transit Passenger Station Based On Semiotics

In May 2019,the environmental impact report of Sichuan mountain rail transit planning was published,which opened the prelude of the construction of mountain rail transit in China.At the same time,the development mode of transportation and tourism integration has become a new trend of the transformation and development of Sichuan mountain tourism.With the rapid development of this field in the future,mountain rail transit stations will spring up everywhere.But throughout the domestic situation,there are some deficiencies in the design of cultural characteristics of railway station waiting space.As the core use space of mountain rail transit station,the waiting space should be paid attention to.The existing design standards of ordinary railway passenger station are difficult to meet the design requirements of waiting space of future mountain rail transit passenger station,so it is urgent to carry out special research on the latter.Under the background that "culture" has become the design principle of railway station,these problems need to be solved.Based on the above phenomenon,this paper chooses the semiotics theory as the research tool,chooses the waiting space design of Dujiangyan mountain rail transit passenger station as the research object,and combined with the results of literature review and field research,to provide the theoretical and design basis for building the waiting space design of Dujiangyan mountain rail transit passenger station with cultural characteristics.Firstly,this paper summarizes the relevant basic theories of semiotics and railway station waiting space,analyzes the cognitive and communicative functions of symbols in waiting space,and summarizes the functional areas and streamline design points of railway station waiting space based on the data of field research.Secondly,it defines the classification of tourism symbols,and analyzes the communication process and forms in indoor space.Through literature review and field investigation,the rich tourism culture of Dujiangyan is classified into three categories: water culture,Taoism culture and panda culture.The tourism symbols of Dujiangyan are investigated by questionnaire,and the tourism symbols are extracted from three aspects: image symbols,index symbols and symbolic symbols,The symbol structure of waiting space of Dujiangyan mountain rail transit station is deduced.Thirdly,based on the on-the-spot investigation on the waiting space of railway stations in tourist cities and the questionnaire survey feedback of its users,this paper summarizes the basic characteristics and travel characteristics of the waiting space users which are different from those of ordinary railway stations in the past,and further analyzes the behavior needs of the waiting space users of Dujiangyan mountain rail transit station.Based on the above data induction and research results,the design principles and key points of waiting space of Dujiangyan mountain rail transit station based on semiotics are obtained.Finally,taking the waiting space of Dujiangyan mountain rail transit passenger station as the design case,this paper uses the semiotics theory to code the tourism symbols of Dujiangyan,and applies the symbol form formed by the coding to the hardware and software design of the waiting space,so as to verify the theory and design basis of the waiting space of Dujiangyan mountain rail transit passenger station based on semiotics.It is hoped that this paper can provide a theoretical and design basis for the future construction or transformation of domestic mountain rail transit passenger station,and contribute to creating a public space with cultural characteristics.
