| With global climate change and accelerated urbanization, floods worldwide are increasing in frequency and intensity year by year.In the past, the idea of flood control in cities was mainly based on resisting, and a large number of engineering-based flood control infrastructures were built. However, these hard levees have destroyed the ecological environment of the surrounding areas and can no longer meet the sustainable development needs of new cities,so the concept of resilience to floods is beginning to be introduced into urban construction. As a waterfront open space,it is not only responsible for linking the ecosystem of the whole land area, but also carries the functions of recreation, culture and science, economic development, etc. It is important for urban ecology, residents’ life, flood prevention and disaster mitigation. This article mainly discusses the application of the concept of resilience to floods to the planning of urban waterfront open space.First, the author made a conceptual analysis of flood disasters, resilience to floods and urban waterfront open space, and summarized and sorted out relevant theoretical studies at home and abroad. On this basis, the article emphasizes the construction of a resilience to floods system for the open waterfront space by combining the techniques of landscape architecture.Subsequently, the article puts forward the planning and design principles for the urban waterfront open space under the concept of resilience to floods, and explores scientific and feasible resilience strategies in the four aspects of ecology, engineering, society, and economy, focusing on building a multi-level,multi-functional city resilience to floods system. The article innovatively introduces the HEC-RAS hydraulic analysis software to simulate the inundation of the urban waterfront open space when flood disaster strikes, and uses quantitative data to assist qualitative analysis to guide future planning and design.Choose Tanyangzhou Park in Changsha City as the planning and design site. After collecting and analyzing sufficient basic data, according to the results of the inundation range obtained by the simulation analysis of the HEC-RAS software and the preliminary strategic research, the final plan and design of a set of suitable site beaches resilience to floods system of open water space.Through the cooperation between landscape architecture and other disciplines and the introduction of new technologies,a multi-level theoretical framework of the Resilience to Flood Theory and a waterfront open space design approach with Chinese characteristics are constructed and summarized, with a view to providing references and lessons for future urban resilience construction. |
