Planning And Design Research Of Urban Open Space Under TheBackground Of New City

This thesis mainly focused on the urban waterfront open space, its landscape ecological planning, and designing. It explored the urban waterfront open space from the perspective of new towns rapid development of landscape planning and design. According to the study of relevant concepts and theories, the definition of the urban waterfront open space was clarity, and its elements, features and functions were analyzed; combined with the background of new towns rapid development, waters and vegetation ecosystem, three-dimensional transportation system, user-friendly principle, diversified open space were affirmed as the principal design strategy for urban waterfront design. Finally, the theories were proved in practice.
