At the beginning of the year in2011CPPCC, China’s prime minister Wen formallyannounced that our country have been regard the public rental housing as theprimarily affordable housing core measures. In recent three years, public rentalhousing has been undergone in several cities, focusing on youth "sandwich layer"living difficulties. Youth "sandwich layer" living difficulties concerns about the bigpicture, influences stability. In the present situation, taking public rental housing asthe main strategy for solving problems is the right thing to do.Concerning public rental housing for the youth as the research subject, the thesissees co-rent pattern as for main object. Through documents reading and field studysummary and analysis to investigate internal and external experience and lessons;through questionnaires for classification to integrate youth life style and livingcharacteristics. Investigate in-depth Beijing different forms of shares in the residenceunderstand habitant pattern of life, daily life characteristics and existing problems.Through the above information of collection, sorting, analysis and study, recognizethe differences between public rental housing and regular housing product, inducesprinciples of design of the public rental housing for the youth and floor planpossibilities, as the conclusion.
