| With the development of China’s medical career,the nuclear medicine treatment center has been improving its functions,from the beginning containing only isotope examination,to now including examination area,outpatient area,ward area,experimental area,pharmaceutical area,and other departments with more perfect functions.Nuclear medicine treatment center is an open nuclear production and use site,but due to its special nature of radiation,its special design needs are also increasingly being paid attention to by environmental protection and health-related departments.In the process of modern hospital development,the functions and scale of nuclear medicine centers vary in different regions and hospitals of different levels.With the development of nuclear medicine and the attention of hospitals,some hospitals gradually expand and reconstruct the original nuclear medicine department,and some hospitals realize the importance of nuclear medicine in the development of hospitals and start to plan for new nuclear medicine centers.For example,in the process of expansion,there are often problems such as restricted site and area,restricted load-bearing,difficulty to organize the flow line,and difficulty controlling the treatment of three wastes.In new construction,it is often difficult to correspond the demand and supply of examination,outpatient,ward,laboratory,pharmaceutical,and other functions;it is difficult to grasp which is more in line with the practical and easy application of the department and the hospital’s economical planning concept,such as setting up nuclear medicine center in a sub-region or the same region;it is difficult to reserve sufficient area for the future development of the department(PET-MRI examination area).Therefore,when expanding,renovating,or building a new nuclear medicine center,how to design the nuclear medicine center intensively so that the department can be more convenient in its future operation and the hospital resources can be more reasonably allocated is an urgent problem to be solved by architects and technicians.In this paper,we investigate the intensive design and construction of nuclear medicine centers.This study is based on the premise of combining theory and practice and uses the case study method,multidisciplinary cross-research method,behavioral research method,and theory-practice combination method to analyze and discuss the relevant building codes and design methods,classic design schemes,and engineering examples of nuclear medicine centers.The main contents of the research include the concept and development history of nuclear medicine center;the concept and significance of intensive design;the design principles of nuclear medicine center;site selection and layout design;the functional partitioning of nuclear medicine center;the flow organization of nuclear medicine center;the loadbearing and equipment path requirements of nuclear medicine center;the use and management of nuclear medicine center,etc.The main research results include: in what aspects the intensive design can play a role;how to consider the partial or overall intensive design of nuclear medicine centers in different types of hospitals according to their own needs;what kind of intensive design is suitable for hospitals of different building sizes;how to design for maintenance and management to realize the intensive design.Finally,two practical cases of centralized and decentralized nuclear medicine centers were used to illustrate the above strategies.The research and exploration on the intensive design of nuclear medicine center in this paper can not only summarize the problems of nuclear medicine center design and the application of intensive design method in the construction of nuclear medicine center,but also help and enlighten the practical work of relevant architectural designers,and benefit the improvement and development of nuclear medicine center architectural design theory,and provide a reference for the construction of nuclear medicine center. |
