Purchasing Management Optimization For Metal Components Of E Company

With the change of the domestic and international market environment and the increase pressure of competition,the business operation of the current enterprises are paying more attention to the supply chain as a whole.As an important part of supply chain management,purchasing management also needs strategic procurement which means to set up a science system under the guidance of the theory of purchasing management system both in the introduction and batch cooperation of supplier.This paper firstly introduces the importance and theoretical basis of procurement management and supply chain management.By reviewing the two aspects of domestic and foreign literatures,it is found that the common point of procurement management and supply chain management is that they both make the supply chain becoming more flexible by strategic cooperation and using systematic tools.Then,through the methods of interviews and data analysis,it is found that E company has three problems in the procurement management of metal components for power battery including development progress speed issue of new products、new products quality issue and supply stability issue of mass-produced products.Then,the use of the corresponding economic and management theories can analyze the problem in details which finds out the causes of the problem including the supplier introduction process lack of standardization,the supplier selection process unscientific and so on.Finally,solutions are made to the causes of these problems,including the establishment of a clear supplier access mechanism by the initiative sourcing and management of procurement to improve the threshold of supplier access;establishing a scientific mechanism of product selection to make sure all departments related to suppliers can put forward their own needs;establishing a more flexible and open supplier strategic cooperation mechanism to ensure both sides are in the cooperative and game stage to achieve a win-win situation.In addition,from the implementation of the guarantee of the company system,human resources and financial support should support the implement of the procurement management optimization.Since the rapid development of the power battery industry in recent years,there are some common problems in the procurement management of metal parts in the industry.This study has certain reference significance for the optimization of procurement management of power battery industry in China.
