With the development of social economy and the continuous development of railway freight products,the diversified characteristics of loading are becoming more and more obvious in the process of railway freight transportation,which are manifested in scattered arrival,various types of vehicles,many destinations,long distance and high timeliness.Except that part of the loading is transported by train and technical direct,most of them are still marshalled and hung in ordinary freight trains and transported to the marshalling station for re marshalling,which increases the operation volume of shunting and transfer in the marshalling station,so that the existing equipment application and transportation organization mode do not meet the transportation requirements.This paper expounds the role of marshalling station in road network transportation,the composition of overall operation capacity and the factors limiting capacity utilization,puts forward the research objectives of this paper,summarizes the research directions at home and abroad,and determines the research technical route.Taking Jiangcun station as the research object,through on-site investigation and realism,this paper introduces the current situation of transportation organization of Jiangcun station,as well as the status,application mode and operation of station equipment,and looks for the reasons for the formation of traffic flow structure by counting the characteristics of traffic flow structure in and out of Jiangcun station.The reasonable calculation formula is adopted to calculate the operation capacity of each system,and find out that the bottleneck subsystem of the station operation capacity is in the hump disassembly subsystem.Combined with the phenomenon of uneven arrival and departure of traffic flow,the operation capacity of the hump disassembly subsystem is optimized,including equipment transformation and improvement of transportation organization mode.After example verification,it is proposed to adjust traffic flow,reduce corner traffic flow operation,make balanced use of the operation capacity of each subsystem Supplemented by the improvement of the management system,the strengthening of the station operation link group and other optimization methods to improve the operation efficiency and optimize the overall operation capacity of the station.
