Traditional residence is the product of the combination of local climate and living culture,and it is an important material and cultural heritage.Some green ecological design principles are embodied in the traditional architectural form.Under the limited conditions,natural building materials and unique architectural forms are used to create a residential environment with strong climate adaptability.Therefore,the study of traditional houses can not only stay in the architectural culture,its passive energy-saving mechanism is also worth further study,and take reasonable measures to improve the existing deficiencies in houses,can achieve the core goal of protecting traditional houses.Therefore,on the basis of the protection and continuation of Kashgar terraced households,this paper studies the green ecology of Kashgar terraced households and the deficiencies in the indoor environment of the dwellings,and draws the following conclusions through field investigation,theoretical calculation,field measurement and building physical simulation:(1)According to the climate and environment of Kashgar region,the passive ecology of Kashgar terraced households is studied.It is found that Kashgar terraced households create the building form of windbreak and heat insulation in the way of closed and self shading.In addition,through theoretical calculation,the total heat transfer group of the residential wall is 0.84m2·K/W,and the roof is 1.76m2·K/W.the thermal performance of the main enclosure structure of the high-rise residential building is closer to the standard value of the thermal performance of the enclosure structure required by the building energy-saving design code than the ordinary brick building,which has better thermal insulation.(2)Because of the limitation of window opening,the quality of indoor ventilation becomes worse.Therefore,on the basis of maintaining the original style of residential buildings,the paper analyzes the combination form of main window openings and the type of patio,and concludes that the longer the distance between the inlet and outlet of the air flow is,the better the indoor ventilation is when the air flow inlet is in the middle.For the vertical window openings,the distance between the two openings is longer and the outlet is arranged in the middle.In the form of patio,the pair of hanging patio can be used as the best form of patio.(3)In the improvement of indoor lighting,traditional lighting technology and passive lighting technology are combined,and the indoor use of decorative materials with high reflectivity can improve the indoor lighting environment.The research on the passive ecology of Kashgar terraced households can provide theoretical reference measures for the green ecology of rural buildings in southern Xinjiang,and provide technical support for the improvement of the comfort of Kashgar terraced households.
