Recreation is one of the four major functions of a city,and its main function is to meet people’s spiritual,social,aesthetic and physiological needs.With the continuous and rapid growth of China’s economy,the demand for recreation has expanded rapidly,and China has entered an era of"rigid demand"for recreation.In the space of recreational activities,the scope of the wide area,to the regional layer type expansion;the double contradiction between the quantity and quality of recreational supply and demand of recreational facilities is prominent;the types and methods of recreation are characterized by diversification and diversification.With the restructuring of metropolitan space,recreation around the city has become the rigid demand and new normal of daily recreation for residents in central areas of the city.As one of the cities with universal characteristics in the process of urbanization in China,Wuhan has a certain typicality in the spatiotemporal characteristics of the recreational activities of metropolitan residents.However,the research on accurately identifying the spatiotemporal characteristics of recreation around the city has just started.Based on this,this paper proposes a"space-behavior-structure-factor-optimization"logical framework for recreation around the city.Exploring the technical integration and method application of multi-source data such as cellular signaling data,POI data,remote sensing image data,geostatistical data,and questionnaire data in the study of recreation around the city.And taking Wuhan as an example to study the spatial distribution characteristics,the characteristics of spatiotemporal regularity of behavior,the characteristics of spatial structure,and the influence factors of behavior of residents’daily recreation around the city,and put forward the optimal countermeasures for recreation around the city from the problem and goal orientation.Among them,"Daily Recreation Around the City"is defined as the activities of central urban residents leaving a certain range of daily life environment(work and residence)in a short period of time(generally no more than 24 hours)during non-holidays.The stay time of this activity is 30min or more.It is for the purpose of feeling happy and relaxed physically and mentally,and does not get financial rewards.At the same time,this activity takes place in the urban area,and the destination is in the suburbs or around the city.The research conclusions mainly include:(1)The daily recreational space around the city of Wuhan residents is in a stage of concentrated and uneven growth.The number of recreational spaces in Huangpi District(337),Jiangxia District(313),and Dongxihu District(302)is higher than the Xinzhou District(192);the spatial differentiation is obvious in the central urban area,the west and south sides of the urban area are relatively concentrated,and the north and east sides are relatively scattered.The supply structure of recreation around the city has shifted from the traditional landscape sightseeing type to a diversified supply structure based on culture and entertainment.Sports leisure and commercial consumption are relatively concentrated in the suburbs;scenic sightseeing and cultural entertainment are relatively scattered in the middle suburbs;and the rural experience type is a relatively scattered recreational space in the outer suburbs.The compound recreational function in the suburbs is prominent,and the single recreational function in the outer suburbs is prominent,preliminarily showing the circle-layer and point-axis spatial structure along the urban area,in which the belt-shaped clusters are clustered along the road,along the lake,and along the scenic spot.(2)The spatiotemporal distribution of the daily recreational population of Wuhan residents around the city is uneven.The density of recreational population in the suburbs is generally greater than 800 persons/km~2.In the suburbs,only the famous tourist destinations such as Mulan Mountain and Liangzi Lake have a recreational population density of 400persons/km~2.The overall attraction of recreational activities around the city presents the characteristics of Jiangxia District(29.01%),Huangpi District(22.91%)higher than Dongxihu District(22.70%)and Xinzhou District(6.04%),and the intensity of recreational activities around the city shows a decrease from the center to the periphery.The suburbs are still the main destinations for recreation around the city.Scenic sightseeing-type recreational recreation around the city accounted for 42.91%.It is currently the main type of recreation around the city in Wuhan.Among them,the rural experience type in Huangpi District is more prominent,and the sports and leisure types in Dongxihu District and Caidian District are more prominent.Hannan District and Jiangxia District The cultural and entertainment type is more prominent,and the commercial consumption type of Xinzhou District is more prominent.(3)The daily recreational space around the city of Wuhan residents has the characteristics of a combination of layered and point-axis development along the outer circle of the central city,and the overall spatial structure of"circle-circle-corridor"combined.Formed a comprehensive recreational circle along the periphery of the main urban area,and a comprehensive recreational circle of Qianchuan,Xingou,Junshan-Jingkou and Zhucheng,and relying on Mulan Mountain in the north of Huangpi,Liangzi Lake Waterfront Resort in Jiangxia District,and Houguan Lake in Caidian District Country parks,Hutou Lake-Liangzi Lake in Jiangxia District,Huangjia Lake-Tangxun Lake,and recreational corridors formed by comprehensive traffic arteries.According to the matching degree of the recreational space around the city and the recreational behavior around the city,the recreational space around the city is divided into three types:mature type,potential type and saturated type.(4)The main influencing factors of the attractiveness of the daily recreational space around the city of Wuhan residents are the resource endowment of recreational space,location conditions and traffic convenience,local cultural charm and planning mechanism and policy;Recreational behavior preferences such as travel time of recreational travel and recreational travel rates of different functional types are affected by age,education level,economic income level,and leisure time in the sample sociological characteristics.Based on the above analysis,this article combines optimization goals and optimization paths,and proposes optimization countermeasures from the aspects of Wuhan city’s recreational space structure,space types,and facilities supply.This paper proposes reasonable resource allocation,expanding from a point-and-axis approach to a regional circle;promoting innovation and upgrading,and highlighting spatial characteristics based on complex diversity;improving traffic accessibility and quality of facilities and services,and stimulating residents’recreational motivation.This paper uses multi-source data to conduct empirical analysis on the characteristics,behavior patterns,and influencing factors of the recreational space around the city in Wuhan.On the one hand,it deepens and perfects the theoretical research on urban recreation,and on the other hand,it explores the application of big data and other methods in recreation around the city.It also provides a reference for the optimization of the allocation of urban recreational resources in Wuhan,and it has certain significance for my country’s growing urbanized areas to promote the improvement of urban functions,the rational layout of recreation,the integrated development of urban and rural areas,and the optimization of the spatial pattern of urban areas.
