After the reform and opening up,China’s rapid economic development,rapid urban expansion,has entered a new era of urbanization and economic new normal.Urban renewal is gradually changing from the denotative growth to the connotative development,which is also the theme of urban transformation and development.The railway station area originally built in the center of the city is surrounded by the rapidly expanding city.With the completion of the new railway station facilities in other areas of the city,the old railway station area has gradually become an urgent place for urban development.In addition,with the access of open data such as micro blog sign in data,POI data and heat map data becoming more and more easy,the change of urban planning methods led by big data has produced important repercussions in the planning field.More and more scholars began to use various kinds of data to study urban space,urban renewal and other issues.Based on the old city railway station area of Shijiazhuang City,this paper uses POI data,heat map data,map data and other multi-source data.Through the analysis of nuclear density and the concentration of people,the paper discusses the existing problems in the area,and puts forward the exploration of the renewal strategy for the area,and finally puts forward the renewal plan for the old Shijiazhuang railway station area.The first part of the paper is to sort out and explain the application and development of multi-source data,the location and general situation of Shijiazhuang old railway station area,and the data needed.Then,according to the collected POI data,the nuclear density of all kinds of facilities is analyzed,and the function of the study area is simply identified;for the heat map data,the data of working days and rest days are sorted out,and the changes between them are compared to summarize the characteristics of human flow concentration in the area.Finally,the nuclear density analysis diagram and thermal diagram of various facilities are compared and analyzed to understand the spatial structure of the area,and the reasons for this situation are analyzed.Finally,three strategies are put forward for the renewal of the region,the first is the strategy of continuation of urban context,the second is the strategy of promotion of urban space vitality,and the third is the strategy of space reconstruction.Based on this,combined with the current situation of Shijiazhuang old railway station area,the renewal scheme of the old railway station area is obtained,and the design of the open space is simply explained.In the aspect of innovation,there are few cases to apply the method of multi-source data to the renewal of old railway station area in the past research.The research of this paper enriches the research content of this aspect.In addition,the application of multi-source data to urban renewal has played a good role in enlightening the application of more and more kinds of data technology in the city.
