The city itself has complex system characteristics.Therefore,urban planning should be a process of long-term dynamic adjustment,improvement and complex decision-making with the development and operation of the city.The application of big data will bring new opportunities for urban and spatial research.The development and innovation of planning methods and planning implementation evaluation methods have been promoted.Data support has promoted the development of urban spatial research methods and improved the scientificalness of urban spatial layout.Mobile phone signaling data,which is similar to full sample and full time,with the help of location base stations and attached space information,can analyze the behavior characteristics and activity traj ectories of people,and can start from human dynamic activities.Closer to the "people-oriented",so that we can better from the perspective of "individual" to study the characteristics of urban space.Based on the commercial POI data in Nanjing area,this paper first identifies the hot spots of Nanjing business center,analyzes the agglomeration characteristics of Nanjing’s current commercial formats,and delineate the boundaries of important commercial centers.Besides,the spatial-temporal behavior database of Nanjing’s leisure and consumption groups is established by using the signaling data of desensitized handsets.Based on the technology framework of mobile phone data application,we visualize the spatiotemporal characteristics of the leisure and leisure groups,determine the activity characteristics of the space units through the distribution density of the day and night,compare the hot spots of the commercial form,and identify the business center of Nanjing.We also use the density of crowd consumption behavior to determine the level of the business center.We analyze the hinterland area of the business center and the source of the consumer community,and make a visual analysis of the travel characteristics of the consumers.We get the spatial characteristics of Nanjing’s business center based on the spatiotemporal behavior of the crowd,and then compare with the existing business center system and other related planning.The similarities and differences between the analysis and the business center system planning are analyzed,and reasonable and effective suggestions are given for the planning and implementation of the Nanjing commercial center.The analysis results of the comprehensive commercial POI data and mobile phone signaling data can reach the following conclusions:(1)Commercial POI data can help us understand the clustering characteristics of commercial formats,but the single data structure can not reflect information such as scale and consumer use.It is difficult to get rid of subjective cognition in the recognition of commercial centers.Therefore,combined with mobile phone signaling data,we can have certain judgement on the activity types of urban space units from the characteristics of human space-time behavior.Access frequency and population density can also help us.Better identify the business center and determine the grade so as to identify 19 commercial centers(Ⅰ-Ⅴ level).(2)The mobile phone signalling data can further recognize the spatial characteristics of Nanjing commercial center through the spatio-temporal behavior of the crowd,analyze the hinterland area,the hinterland area and the number of consumers in different commercial centers,and analyze the preferred commercial centers of different places of residence,among which Xinjiekou is the most preferred commercial center for 62.9%of consumers.The average travel distance of the consumers is 7427.36m,the longest distance to reach the business center of the Chun Xi business center and the shortest business center of the Dachang business center,and the characteristics of the travel characteristics of the consumers are strong central inflow,regional windmill and primary and secondary symbiosis.(3)Compared with the commercial center system planning of Nanjing commercial network planning(2015-2030),the paper points out the problems existing in the planning orientation of the commercial center and the current construction implementation,as well as the needs of the crowd,and puts forward the planning proposals and prospects for the city commercial center.Suggestions on consumption upgrading,speeding up commercial facilities construction and upgrading planning level are put forward for important regional(new town)commercial centers.
