| Since the approval of Suzhou as one of the first batch of famous historical and cultural cities in 1982,it has carried out for 40 years in terms of the protection of the ancient city of Suzhou.The protection of the ancient city of Suzhou has completed the transfer from point to area from the initial single building pilot,to the reconstruction of regional neighborhoods,and then to the renewal and reconstruction design of historical and cultural blocks.In this case,the construction of many positive spaces with cultural heritage and urban characteristics have been made.As the work of protection and renewal is deepened,the optimization of the overall urban pattern outside the historical blocks has also been put on the agenda.Since 2017,it has started from the perspective of urban design to carry out the protection of the ancient city of Suzhou,which has tried to make the optimization of the overall pattern of the ancient city of Suzhou and connect the fragmented historical resources,so that the new style of the ancient city can be presented.The scientificity and comprehensiveness of urban big data as a new technical means have great significance to the optimization of the overall pattern of the ancient city of Suzhou.However,it was found that there were few application cases of urban big data for the protection and renewal of ancient cities through the query of relevant data,and there existed the immature and unsystematic problems.Therefore,by starting from the perspective of multi-source urban big data,a variety of appropriate data types and analysis methods were adopted,the optimization and management of street space in blocks 37,38 and 44 of Suzhou were taken as an example to provide a certain reference value for the overall protection and renewal of the ancient city of Suzhou.Firstly,the relevant literature of multi-source data and urban big data were interpreted,and the existing multi-source data application methods were summarized.In the meantime,the research on the relevant planning documents and historical materials of the protection process of the ancient city of Suzhou was conducted,its development process,problems,difficulties and challenges were defined,and the work required in the protection and renewal of the ancient city of Suzhou in the future was summarized,so a theoretical basis was provided for future research.Secondly,the present status of street space in blocks 37,38,and 44 of Suzhou was analyzed,then the existing problems in the traffic level,landscape level,function level,and historical and cultural resources level of the site were clarified.Through the combination of the analysis method of multi-source data,the space syntax,Arc GIS,POI interest points,python,Seg Net and other analysis methods were adopted to analyze and summarize the problems of blocks 37,38 and 44 in Suzhou from four aspects,such as the street spatial structure,functional business distribution,pedestrian vitality intensity and landscape style quality.Finally,in line with the analysis results and relevant planning vision,the optimization design strategies of street space in blocks 37,38 and 44 of Suzhou were proposed based on the adherence of the principles of people-oriented,integrity,gradualness,regionality and authenticity.The street space optimization strategies cover the optimization of the street space characteristics and the improvement of street traffic quality;the adjustment of the distribution of street business types and the perfection of the functional distribution situation;the flexible use of historical and cultural resources and the restoration of the original style of the site;the creation of public communication space and the enhancement of the atmosphere of street life;the balance of the style and landscape of the site as well as the strength of the space tour experience.As for the proposal of the street space optimization strategies based on the multi-source data analysis in this thesis,it hopes to provide a certain reference value for the follow-up work of the protection and renewal of the ancient city of Suzhou. |
