Research On Reading Space Of Contemporary University Library In Cold Area

With the rapid development of higher education in China,the wide application of information technology has brought about profound changes in the ways and means for teachers and students to acquire knowledge.As the core building of Contemporary Colleges and universities,the library has evolved into a comprehensive education building.It is the center of picture and text reading and the center of learning and communication on campus.The first mock exam is the rapid development of digital technology.The mode of reading is changed from traditional single mode to digital reading,academic research and communication.The reading space tends to be comprehensive and polysemous in function,providing diversified spatial functions.In addition,on the basis of comprehensive consideration of the characteristics of cold city climate,economy and technology,the reading space of University Library in cold region is not only an important extension of teaching space,but also the main indoor activity place of teachers and students in cold region.Therefore,the research on the reading space of University Library in cold regions is in line with the development requirements of the times,which is of great significance to lead the architectural creation and theoretical research of colleges and universities.In this paper,based on the contemporary cold region high school library building related examples,analysis of reference materials,analysis of reading space function evolution,on the basis of its design techniques.According to the background of the times and the regional conditions of cold regions,this paper selects the reading space of some university libraries in China for representative investigation,summarizes the influencing factors and puts forward the design principles according to the characteristics,reading modes and space characteristics of Contemporary Colleges and universities in cold regions.This paper takes the reading space function,space form and space environment of Contemporary University Library in cold regions as three breakthrough points,and puts forward appropriate design strategies from the aspects of function creation,form construction,environment construction and site interface,combined with engineering practice cases at home and abroad.In terms of function,it realizes the combination of teaching function,rest function and learning function;in terms of space,it realizes the shaping of reading space form,space sequence and space level;from the aspect of indoor space in cold regions,it creates the atmosphere of place and optimizes the indoor environment in accordance with the regional climate.Finally,taking the library design of the new campus of Harbin Railway University as an example,combined with the project design practice,targeted design and optimization of library reading space.This paper studies the design of the reading space of Contemporary University Library in cold regions,aiming to create a space system of opening reading space functions,interactive reading space forms,and optimized reading space environment atmosphere,so as to realize the transition from theoretical research to project practice,and gradually analyze from design analysis to design strategy,which is in line with the current era background and the climate environment in cold regions,It provides the thinking guidance and theoretical support for the architectural design of Contemporary Colleges and universities in cold regions.
