| Environmental education is one of the basic functions of the campus environment and one of the ways to show the reputation of the university.Therefore,the construction of the campus environment has become a common concern of people.As the carrier of students’ daily leisure,reading and communication,the leisure reading space can reflect the development level of campus environment construction,reflect the value of environmental education,and become an indispensable part of the campus environment.The natural landscape environment of colleges and universities in Chongqing provides good conditions for the planning and construction of diversified leisure reading space,which makes them present distinctive mountain characteristics.However,there are many problems,such as unreasonable distribution,cultural loss,imperfect facilities and so on,in the current campus leisure reading space,which shows the state of not adapting to the needs of users.Therefore,it is beneficial to promote the planning,construction and quality improvement of leisure reading space on campus of mountainous universities and meet the needs of campus environment planning and construction in China to carry out in-depth research on the construction of leisure reading space in colleges and universities based on users’ needs.This paper takes Chongqing leisure reading space in colleges and universities as the research object.Using the theories and methods of environment behavior,demand hierarchy theory,space environment quality evaluation methods,Kano-QFD integration methods and so on,the author selects 10 colleges(13 campuses)in the main urban area of Chongqing for field research.,with the aid of Kano-QFD integration method to establish a set of suitable for Chongqing university leisure reading space quality evaluation model,evaluates the leisure reading space of Southwest University campus.Through the relevant theoretical research and field investigation results of statistical analysis,the study comes to the following conclusions:(1)According to the environment and landscape characteristics of the campus leisure reading space,the campus leisure reading space in Chongqing is divided into seven types: lawn type,understory type,waterfront type,pavilion and corridor type,footpath edge type,garden type and square type.(2)Through field investigation,the characteristics of different types of leisure reading space are analyzed and the overall construction characteristics of leisure reading space are summarized.In the aspect of spatial planning,the number of leisure reading space on campus in Chongqing shows a positive correlation with the area of campus;The number of different types of leisure reading space in order from most to least is as follows: footpath edge type>square type>waterfront type>garden type>pavilion and corridor type>lawn type> understory type;In the different functional zones of universities,the number of leisure reading spaces in order from most to least is: teaching and research area>central landscape area>accommodation and living area>campus entrance area>sports area;The number of resting space corresponding to different spatial forms from most to least is: planar > linear > dot.In the aspect of landscape design,The terrain of leisure reading space can be divided into five types:flat type,rise type,slope type,sinking type and compound type,and the flat land is the main type;the plant landscape is different,the value of the water body needs to be explored,the types of facilities are relatively rich,and the pavement is plain and monotonous;In the aspect of management service,public security management is good,there are blind spots in cleaning,facility maintenance and greening maintenance,and the creation of cultural atmosphere has not been paid attention.In terms of usage,the author summarizes the main content,time and demand of the users in different types of leisure reading space.Finally,the author concludes that there are some problems in the leisure reading space,such as unreasonable layout,insufficient utilization of superior resources,not prominent cultural characteristics,not obvious mountain features,imperfect facilities and poor management.(3)Kano-QFD integrated method is suitable for post-use evaluation of leisure reading space in university campus environment;Based on this,the quality evaluation model of leisure reading space in Chongqing universities is constructed from the two aspects of user demand and quality characteristics of leisure reading space.(4)Kano-QFD integrated evaluation model is applied to evaluate the quality of the leisure reading space in the campus of Southwest University,and the user demand index attributes,importance degree and key quality characteristics of the leisure reading space of different types are obtained,and corresponding construction suggestions are put forward.(5)According to the field research and evaluation results,the concept,principles and methods of the construction of leisure reading space in colleges and universities in Chongqing are put forward.Chongqing university leisure reading space in the aspect of spatial planning should follow five principles: the space distribution webified,the types of spatial differentiation,space scale miniaturization,sufficient space number,the surrounding environment interaction;In the aspect of landscape design should follow five principles: the penetration of natural resources,three-dimensional topography,enrichment of infrastructure,plant culture showing,suitable plant species;In the management and service level should follow two principles: maintenance of public facilities,theme activities diversified.Finally,the corresponding construction methods for different types of leisure reading space are proposed.This paper investigates the current situation and construction of Chongqing leisure reading space in colleges and universities,based on the user demand as the guide,in order to provide some reference and guidance value for Chongqing and other universities with mountain characteristics campus leisure reading space promotion,transformation,planning and construction. |
