| With the extensive coverage of network resources and the gradual maturity of digital technology,great changes have taken place in the core functions of traditional university libraries,from the "book as the core of the library" to the "user as the core of the library".According to the development of information technology and the change of library operation concept,the National Science Foundation(NSF)held a seminar on the future direction of Library Development in June 2003,at the meeting,library scholar propose that after ten years of construction in the digital library,the new form of information technology and service concept has a relatively mature development,digital library began to enter the late stage,Digital Library Era.After the concept of the digital library,received a wide range of professional recognition of the relevant Libraries.This paper starts from the concept of the Digital Library Era(DLE),makes an in-depth analysis and Research on the rational existence of university library space from the aspects of architecture and space thinking.In this paper,we first discuss the definition of the PDE,discover the influence of various changes in the context of the times on the University Library,then we makes a summary of the new library space theory,through these various analysis,we found the necessity of University Library spatial optimization is obtained.Based on this,the paper probes into the spatial characteristics of University Libraries in the PDE,from three angles of function,form and environment,then obtained their characteristics.Through the analysis of the characteristics to make further research summary,the optimization method of university library space in the post digital era is obtained.In the end,this paper makes a reform of Shenyang Jianzhu University Library,to verify the theoretical research.reflect the practical feasibility of optimization methods,and provide some reference for the construction of university library space in the PDE. |
