Following the Opinions on Strengthening the Care and Protection of Left-behind Children in Rural Areas issued by the State Council in 2016,corresponding implementation opinions have also been actively introduced across the country,and specific measures have been proposed based on the local actual situation.At the same time,experts,scholars and entrepreneurs from all walks of life actively devote themselves to providing as much help as possible to left-behind children in rural areas.These policies and measures have played an important role in ensuring the healthy growth of left-behind children in rural areas.In recent years,under the guidance of the Party Central Committee’s strategy of rural revitalization,China’s rural construction efforts continue to increase,the situation is gratifying.How to scientifically plan and construct the outdoor activity space of rural children and meet the needs of the children left behind is an urgent concern.This thesis studies the physiological,psychological and behavioral development characteristics of rural left-behind children,explores the outdoor activity space design strategies to meet their healthy growth,and aims to improve the outdoor activity space environment of rural left-behind children,which has a strong practical significance and reference value for rural planning and construction.First,based on theory research,this article takes rural left-behind children’s psychological behavior characteristics as the research basis,0-16 left-behind children as the main research object,based on the children’s outdoor activity space for China’s rural environment research category,through using the method of literature analysis,field investigation,questionnaire investigation and empirical analysis of the four research methods,the related to define the core concept,summarizes the domestic and foreign relevant research dynamic and research results,and application of environmental psychology,child development,psychology,cognitive development theory knowledge,such as analysis of rural left-behind children group,Combined with the practical experience of relevant excellent practice cases at home and abroad,the research ideas adapted to this paper are constructed.Secondly,in the study of the status quo,through on-the-spot investigation concluded that rural children’s outdoor activity space types and the status quo of the rural outdoor activity space are widespread problems,mainly include: activities and lack of infrastructure,security,and lack of normative,excessive reliance on artificial and natural resources in rural areas lack of use,and neglect of left-behind children’s physical and psychological behavior development problems such as;At the same time,through the method of questionnaire survey,analysis and summary of rural left-behind children’s outdoor space types,functions and facilities in terms of the actual needs.Finally,in the thesis,the core part of the design strategy,from the macro level of the space environment,space planning to micro space design as a starting point,according to status quo of the problem are put forward and the actual demand of left-behind children in rural left-behind children’s environmental requirements of outdoor space design strategy,and through the design practice in the study of the empirical analysis.
