| In recent years,China has been committed to comprehensively advancing the "Belt and Road" initiative and vigorously advocated Chinese companies to go abroad.International railways are the core projects of China’s foreign contracted projects.The international market’s demand for Chinese railways is increasing.This has become a major opportunity for Chinese railways to "go global." At the same time,Chinese railways also need to face more severe challenges.After entering the 21 st century,the scale of technology-intensive overseas railway projects has rapidly expanded,and the EPC general contracting model has become the most commonly used management model for overseas railway projects.The EPC model exists in all aspects of project construction.The general contractor completes the project design,material purchase,and project construction on the basis of the contract.Compared with other types of construction projects,the characteristics of railway projects include large initial investment,long construction time,poor construction environment,and many stakeholders in the design,and most overseas railway projects are fixed-price contracts,so the general contractor needs to bear huge project risks.However,many general contractors of overseas railway projects lack risk management awareness and have not formulated risk prevention and control plans in advance.Therefore,they encountered various difficult difficulties during construction,which not only increased the cost of the project,but also caused the project to be unable to complete the project on time.risk.This fully demonstrates the necessity of carrying out overall risk management work in advance,and only in this way can the smooth implementation of the project be ensured.This article focuses on the risk management of international engineering EPC general contracting projects.Taking the Sri Lanka Southern Railway Project of C Company as the research object,conducts an in-depth analysis of the risks of the project,and formulates corresponding risk prevention strategies for various risks encountered by the project.This will help C Company to provide valuable reference and practical experience for various risks that may be encountered in overseas EPC railway projects under similar models,improve the ability to resist risks,make the company’s risk management and control system more complete,and gain risk management and control capabilities.Really improve.This article gives full play to the role of WBS-RBS risk identification method to accurately identify the risks of overseas railway EPC projects,and on this basis,conducts a systematic analysis of various risks in the execution of the EPC project of Sri Lanka Southern Railway EPC project of C Company.In the comprehensive evaluation of various risk factors,common methods such as analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy comprehensive analysis method are used to analyze and evaluate the level of risk factors,and on this basis,comprehensive risks are proposed for the EPC project of Sri Lanka Southern Railway.The countermeasures can solve risk problems more efficiently and provide a reference for Chinese companies to contribute to the “Belt and Road”initiative with high quality. |
