As economic globalization has become an irreversible trend,construction companies will inevitably participate in this wave if they want to keep growing and developing.Today’s Chinese construction companies have also gone abroad in response to this wave and have begun to participate activelyin undertaking international construction projects.However,unlike the domestic market environment,international engineering has a more complex international political,economic,and social environment,and the internal management of projects is also different from that in domestic market.Therefore,Chinese companies engaged in overseas construction projects face far more risks than domestic,as while risk management has become more important and urgent.Based on the BT highway construction project of LJ Road and Bridge Co.,Ltd.in Mongolia,this paper uses various theoretical techniques and methods of modern risk management to sort out the current research status and risk management methods and processes in the field of risk management at home and abroad.By applying relevant knowledge and theories of projects risk management to research and analyze the external and internal risk factors of Mongolia’s BT highway construction project,the various risks faced by the project during the construction phase have been identified and a risk identification checklist has been formed.Based on the risk identification list,the risk assessment of the Mongolian BT highway construction project was completed by the combination of the AHP analytic method and the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method.Finally according to being based on the results of the risk evaluation and the actual conditions of the project,the specific risk response strategy and monitoring plan of the Mongolian BT highway construction project during the construction phase were proposed,in order to provide some guidance and reference in risk management for domestic enterprises participating in overseas projects. |
